- Title: Quetzalcoatl
- Artist: Ktns
- Description: Quetzalcoatl is an Aztec sky and creator god. The name is a combination of 'quetzal', a brightly colored Mesoamerican bird, and 'coatl', meaning serpent. Quetzalcoatl is often referred to as The Feathered Serpent and was connected to the planet Venus. He was also the patron god of the Aztec priesthood, of learning and knowledge. Today Quetzalcoatl is arguably the best known Aztec deity, and is often thought to have been the principal Aztec god.

- -_- I love this. And about the comment of it 'not being cosplay because it's not an existing thing'. What has anyone cosplayed that has been really EXISTING? 5/5 Very well done. :]

- Offer something more constructive please that hasnt already been said? I think whats considered 'cosplay' about this avatar is up for interpretation. Just like anyone making an avatar with an elf is a cosplay as well if you want to work with those standards. *shrug* I put it here because it wasnt your run of the mill anime/movie/character cosplay. :3 And you know what.. Im totally within my rights to do that! So stop the drama and spamming my comments with more bs.

- This isn't a legal issue and no it doesn't. Cosplaying is "a type of performance art whose participants outfit themselves, with often-elaborate costumes and accessories, as a specific character." Gaia's is just dressing up to represent or look like a character, person or in the case deity. It may be an artistic interpretation of Quetzalcoatl, but it's still Quetzalcoatl.(or in other words, "still a cosplay" wink

I love how well you combined all those items without making it seem tacky. Brilliantly done, and your description truly shows that you know what you're talking about. 5/5.
tehChich: Uh, "Cosplay" is actually only counted towards COPYRIGHTED 'characters', not existing Gods. You can't sue for individual interpretation of a non-existant thing. Artists have been doing crap like this for years. I hardly think that her own unique vision of Quetzacoatl can be considered cosplay. Chill. - Report As Spam

- Soooooo, I don't believe myself to be nasty and/or catty by saying this, but this is a cosplay. Referring to an existing thing, resembling it, then calling yourself by the same name as the thing, qualifies this as a cosplay. Now I don't know if you thought it was original or there was a malfunction and this was misplaced, I just thought I should point that out. If this was in the right section, I would have gladly given it a 5~
