Why hello there, I am Woody WoodPecker from The Woody Woodpecker show! I am a bit hyper and high-strung, but aren't we all?
I originally appeared on TV in the 1940's in an Andy Pandy Short called 'Knock Knock'. Back then I was voiced by Mel Blane. Later on I was replaced by
Ben Hardaway, Grace Stafford, and Billy West. That first short aired in 1940, where my cartoon series ran from 1955-1966. Later on I aired again in 1999.
