Riku who's heart was trapped in the world of darkness somehow found a way out. Riku manages his way into Castle Oblivion near the same time as Sora, but he is venturing through the dark basements of the Castle. Battling with his inner demons, Riku knows he is part dark, but he is also part light and this gives him the strength to fight the evils who try and persuade him, even as his memory is failing.
