- Alex was turned when he was 23 and soon learned that unlike most vampires, the sun did not hurt him. Being able the move in the daylight, he realized that he cold indulge in all of his favorite vices with no lasting consequences. He also found that he can live off of animals and there for don't need to feed on humans(unless they like that kind of thing).
