How was he lifting straight off the ground? Colorful energy arcs dashed and crackled around the dinosaur that he didn't understand. Above was a dark cloud - or a very round pterosaur. He'd never seen its type before.
The aliens were baffled. They'd only gone back about a hundred million years too far - a blink of time in their planet's history - but this cow just didn't quite match the description of normal human livestock.
