He was a Prince so he had to be careful, there could be thieves or murderers to take him for ransom! He felt confidence he would make it. You could see it in his eyes. He was armed with 2 swords for protection. And also dressed handsomely as if to go to the ball. He was sweating a small amount of water onto the ground.
