- Description: Little Mimi was finally ready for bed. Before settling in under the covers, she asked (in which I mean begged) Mama to check under the bed and in the closet for any monsters. After checking and double checking, Mama kissed her child good-night and closed the bedroom door. Mimi knew the monsters would stay away as long as the nightlight would protect her. She closed her eyes, but then heard a 'pop!' followed by a pathetic fizzle. She bolted up, her eyes meeting nothing but darkness. "MAMAA!"
