Artist Info:
I am almost 18 and all my life I loved the arts. I drew, I sang, I played many instruments, I've created stories, and I crafted memory books and made beautiful bracelets to sell.

It was what made me me.
Through middle school I had this small appreciation for nature and what-not that I never payed attention to.
In high school would look at factories, litter, dry grass plains, even the little sections of grass on highways that look like there would be enough room to plant trees in.
All these things gave me an idea for a painting to make...

It was when I created this piece of art in my head that caused my little spark of nature to grow into a fire.
The piece was of a beautiful woman slowly growing ugly and dying, with power lines stabbed into her flesh, factories draining the natural skin oils from her skin, and her hair, made
of forest fires and waterfalls leading into polluted lakes.
There were little construction workers trying to paint over the cracks of her skin as a lady would try to conceal her wounds with foundation after she'd been abused.
This woman, our mother earth, was being abused by her children. She had a pained expression and I wanted nothing more than to put a smile upon her face.

Arts to me now are nothing but entertainment, things I do to kill time. All of that was me then; this is me now.

I want to be able to work with a group and plant things in places, wherever plants can be planted,
like, for example, a long road that can have rows of trees on each side so that it will look like a hall or a tunnel. Maybe bushes, perhaps!
Or doing all kinds of other stuff, like cleaning the environment..
Not enough people are taking action to what's happening right now; climate change, and many places are left dry and empty instead of flourished with nature.
Sorry if I sound like a green freak but I care deeply of the planet we all share and seeing all the potential things I could work with have went so far as to bring tears to my eyes.
I want this to be my future.
