Each star is a wish, a prayer to the gods launched by hopeful hearts into the sky<br />
They shoot up high into the sky, trying to reach heaven<br />
But many of these stars burn up, disintegrate into millions of pieces in the day sky <br />
because the hearts that wished were tainted, corrupted by greed <br />
The elders say that there is one heart, a heart so pure that when a wish is made by it<br />
it will shine bright even in the blue sky, the gods will hear it<br />
<br />
One day, I made a wish<br />
Not to be alone...to have friends that will always love me<br />
My star appeared, brighter than any other even in the day<br />
My wish came true<br />
<br />
In a dream, I met them. <br />
Four little creatures made of jelly<br />
Sweet, kind, and caring, we became fast friends<br />
But when I woke up, they were gone<br />
Each night in my dreams I met them<br />
But each time I awoke, they left<br />
<br />
I wished harder, the star grew brighter<br />
Until one day, an island appeared on a nearby lake<br />
It was them! They had come, and they too had friends<br />
Each villager befriended a creature that they dubbed "jellies"<br />
And now, you too can find one.<br />
