I was the 2nd child taken in at Wammy's House, I was an attempt to create a successor for L, and I was the serial killer behind the Los Angeles BB Murder Case.<br />
I was born with Shinigami Eyes, which allows me to see and know when exactly people around me would die, as well as knowing their full names. I used this ability to pick my victims and kill them when they would have been destined to die. Mello wondered if a Shinigami dropped its eyeballs to Earth and they somehow became mine. Some have claimed that I am a cannibal, but this is only a rumor, of your knowledge. During the investigation of the Los Angeles BB Murder Cases with Naomi Misora, I was described to have a jar filled with strawberry jam, in the victim's fridge. Some people also speculate that similar to L and Mello's craving for sweets, I crave strawberry jam. I practice laughing quite often. Also, it is interesting to note that my laughter is referred to Mello as a "Shinigami's laugh."<br />

My Victims.<br />
My first known victim was the freelance writer Believe Bridesmaid, whom I killed July 31st, 2002, after drugging him and then asphyxiating him with a rope. I left four Wara Ningyo at the crime scene, and in post-mortem mutilation, Bridesmaid's chest was slashed several times; I also took the time to re-dress him. The wounds I left were made to resemble letters spelling the name of my next victim.<br />

My second known murder happened four days later, on August 4th. The victim, Quarter Queen (a 13-year-old girl), was also drugged before her death, the cause of which was blunt force trauma to her skull. I also crushed her eyes in further post-mortem mutilation. I left three Wara Ningyo at the scene of the crime. <br />
<br />
My third known killing happened nine days after Quarter Queen's murder. Backyard Bottomslash was a 28-year-old bank worker who I had also drugged before her death, though her age fell in-between those of the previous two victims (44 and 13). Her death was caused by loss of blood, with when I cut off her right leg and left arm. I left two Wara Ningyo nailed to the walls in a similar manner to the other two cases.<br />
