I always thought it was just attention grabbing leaving one of these entries when the time came, but there are honestly things I want to say about Gaia since other than being something to check in on every now and then Gaia has ran it's coarse for me. I wont make any claims about Gaia being time lost, in fact without it my careers with writing and roleplaying would be years behind where they are now. Gaia has served as an amazing portal for me to discover how many like minded people there who commissioned art, ran roleplaying communities and wanted to take steps into making their own games - and the community that was here might even be more important to them. This has been the 10th summer since I've been a part of this site and I've had wonderful experiences and made many memories in those times.
But it's obvious for many that certain choices done with this website, and the lack of heart it use to have have driven people away from using this site. I still do commend Gaia for standing as strong as it has against the competition who were quicker to make similar mistakes. There are some people I wish I could still be in contact with, have some apologies made and reconnect with who else has grown exhausted of this community themselves. But the time I've had here is still good.
I'm doing great for myself, and I can't forget the optimism I have because of this site and I'm very hopeful that everyone that I knew closely for a time here have found their new haven.
I'm not quitting this site, just expressing my feelings. I'll still hop onto this site every now and then, leave some notes and maybe meet someone I've been waiting to see.
