Armand is extraordinarily seductive, both in regard to his mental abilities and conventional seduction. He is superb at playing "Dark politics" and can be extremely manipulative and ruthless when necessary. Armand typically thinks several steps ahead of his current plans and readies himself for most eventualities. He is also considered more "human" than most myhtical beings, though others see this a weakness.<br />

Armand's personality combines hedonism with great self-control. During his pursuit of slaves he is able, for years, to control his own wants and desires in thier presence, and be unfailingly pleasant and courteous, even as they hold him at arms length, until they have been properly broken to his whims.<br />

Emotionally, Armand holds himself apart from even those he considers truely valued friends, having learned from personal expiriance that, if his affections become common knowledge, his friends, family and trusted servants will become targets for his enemies. Only among those with a fighting ability capable enough to defend themselves against strong attackers will he let his affection become obvious.<br />
