    Ciao, my name is Caterina Vargas. I represent the Island of Sicily (or Sicilia) located in South Italy. If you don't know which island, i'm the one right by the toe of the boot >>" I'm 21 years old and 5"2.<br />
    <br />
    ((Some info on the island of Sicily. Please not that my OC is not perfect and I am not an expert in Sicilian history. I base her off of what I learn, and I'm always learning new things. If you'd like to give helpful critisicm in a polite way, I have no problem with that and am very open to any help I can get. But if you're going to be rude, I'm not going to respond.))<br />
    -Sicily is an island right off the 'toe' of South Italy. It's known as the largest region in Italy and the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea.<br />
    -The time of the 'Kingdom of Sicily' was her father. ((Who is another OC of mine, who I am also researching as I continue to update Sicily's information)) <br />
    -Due to the constant eruptions of Mount Etna (One of the most active volcanoes in the world), Sicily has and continues to gain burn marks on her back. Despite the volcano leaving it's mark on her, it's soils do help nearby farms, vineyards and orchards.<br />
    -Sicily does have one of the lowest unemployment rates and has a slight struggle to raise it's GDP (Gross Domestic Product) to above average, but influence of the Mafia has affected both of these in a negative way.<br />
    -Due to the volcanic soils provided by Etna, Sicily's aggriculture is relatively good. Her main products include various citrus fruits, grapes, olives (and olive oil), almonds.<br />
    -Sicily has also produced more wine than Austria, Hungary,and New Zealand combined. <br />
    -Sicily has a very sunny, dry climate and plenty of archeological sites from past nations/empires that have had control over the island. Good place to stop by to see some history!<br />
    -At one point in World War II, Sicily was occupied by the Allies in an campaign called 'Operation Husky'. This crucial takeover played a big part in the Allied invasion of Italy. Though the axis escaped to the mainland with quite a handful of casualties, Caterina remained in her homeland.<br />

    ((I also have some OOC notes that I would very much appreciate if you read. <br />
    -Like I said before. I am still learning about Sicily. Which means there are some things I may know and a lot of things I do not know. If you woul like to present some information to me or correct me, then please do so in a polite manner.<br />
    -Though there are still people in Sicily who speak Sicilian, I do not. I took Italian class as my language in Middle school and High School. So Sicily will be speaking Italian, not Sicilian. Please don't get on my case about it. I'd rather speak a language that would make sense and that I know than go get a translator and risk sounding silly. <br />
    -On that note, my Italian may be slightly rusty. I've been out of Italian class for more than a year. xD Just don't come to me in a full blown Italian conversation, please.<br />
    -On another note, I know not everyone speaks Italian! And I don't make Sicily have full blown conversations in said language. But I will slip a few words in here and there. If you don't know what it means, all you need to do is ask. c:<br />
    -My action symbols and OOC switch from time to time. I may use -'s or *'s for actions. (( ))'s are my most common OOC symbols, though i may use [[ ]] as well. Just a heads up so there's no confusion.<br />
    -Please note, that just because Sicily has a history with some cannon characters does NOT mean that they need to interact as if they know her and be best friends! I understand that not all Hetalia fans know ALL the history of a country, and I won't be offended if an England doesn't remember Operation Husky c: (Though I may be a bit hurt if a Romano doesn't know his own island xD Just kiddding~ )<br />
    -On that note, not all Romano's, Feliciano's, and Grandpa Rome's need to be related to Sicily. I have a Romano and a Grandpa Rome who see me as family, but I will NOT run up to any of you and call you "Brother'" or "Grandpa". If you would like to address me as family, then that would be awesome c: But I won't force anyone. <br />
    -On another note, Sicily does tend to call Spain's "capo" or "boss" sometimes. This can be backed up by the fact that South Italy was in Spain's control at one point (As I'm sure all Hetalia fans know). If you would prefer she doesn't, just politely ask me to stop, and I gladly will c:<br />
    -Here is the point i must stress the most. If you do not like my OC, or any OCs at all, and you have nothing nice to say PLEASE leave my page or don't talk to me! I respect that you may not like Hetalia OCs but i will not respect people being rude to me because of my decision to make a character. Please be respectful or don't say anything at all. Thank you. <br />
    -On that note, if you are in character and the character you roleplay does not like Sicily or is not the friendliest character, that's fine. But I will not tollerate people being rude out of character and purposely being disrespectful just because they don't like Sicily. ))<br />

    I'm a relatively friendly person and tend to be quiet most of the time. Though I'm always open to making new friends and meeting new people, I am bad at starting conversations. So i apologize ahead of time! ^^;<br />
    A few things I'll have to ask of you, though:<br />
    -Please don't bring up the Mafia infront of me. I know they're not a good group, and i know my home is known for being the origin and having many members. It's a sensitive subject, and i try to forget about it or avoid it when i can. Please don't be afraid to talk to me because of the mafia. Honestly, i would have no reason to harm you unless you hurt my family. And even then, all you might get is a raging Sicilian. I only resort to violence when necessary.<br />
    -Do not. Touch. My curl. I know some people have some weird facination with piece's of hair that defy gravity, but that doesn't give you the right to go and poke at it >B<br />
    -I'm currently married to Dee, as of April 14th, 2012, also known as Sweet Devil! America. He's very important to me, and a wonderful man. So don't even think about insulting or hurting him, or you'll hear from me. >:T<br />

    Lovino Vargas AKA South Italy (Romano Tomato Patrol) - My older brother. I love him very dearly and would do anything for him. That includes sending someone to the bottom of a river if they hurt or upset him.. -glares- So do not mess with him. I know he's capable of taking care of himself, but I won't stand by idly if you're going to give him crap. Seriously, bastardi! Dx< Lovino's a very important person to me. And don't go on about how 'sour' his attitude is, because i'm sure you don't have the best attitude, either >:< I love my fratello very much, and he's very sweet. Nothing can convince me otherwise. -nods-<br />
    Dee AKA Sweet Devil! America (Gods Sweet Devil) - I don't even know where to start when describing my wonderful husband. When I first met Dee, he had been almost a split personality in America's body, and i'll admit, i didn't like him at first. But as time went on, i saw the immense changes he went through and not only was i proud of him, but i found someone who was an amazing friend. I had gone through a tough time with my previous fiance, and through the whole ordeal Dee had been one of the people to wait with me. He's got a compassionate and big heart, and i'm glad that i get to spend my life with him. Dee means the world to me, and that will never change. I wish i could find the words to describe how much i love this man, but words and actions can't even begin to show how much i care for him <3 <br />
    Ivan Braginski AKA Russia (Kolkolkolashnikovs) - My *cough forceably adopted cough* nephew~ He loves to nuke the crap out of people, drink vodka, beat people with pipes, squish people, beat things with his pipe.... But he's a sweetheart, i promise~ EvenifhedoesconstantlynukeAmelia e__e' I love Russia very very much, despite the fact that he's very violent. I try my best to keep him and Amelia from fighting, but he never listens to his 'tetya' |D *cough* That aside, I will always love my nephew <3 <br />
    Amelia Jones AKA Fem!America (Supersized Heart) - My     *cough forceably adopted cough* niece~ She rather enjoys eating and nuking the crap out of Russia, but what can you do? |D She's very sweet (And oddly enough, can be most normal one in our group) and extremely hyper. But who isn't now a days? : D She's got a good head on her shoulders and is a lot of fun to be around c: She also likes to rage at her gameboy and throw it through walls >__> <br />
    Yao Wang AKA China ( Yao Wang iIXXChinaXXIi ) - We had gotten into the odd habit of calling eachother 'son' and 'mama'. Don't ask how it happened, it just did = v=' He's such a sweetheart and will always listen to what i have to say ; v ; And he's always too cute~ >w< He's also very dependant and will stand up for the people he cares about. Don't mess with him, or you'll get a chinese throwing star to the knee to the face.<br />

    Alfred Jones AKA America (Fifty States of America) - America's very dear to my heart, and he's like a second brother to me. I care very much for him and would do anything for him. America's always there for me, and has been with me through some tough times i've been having, so in return i'll always be by his side. No matter what mood i'm in, America's smile and laugh is probably one of the things that can cheer me up in no time. He's a great friend, and i wouldn't want it any other way~ I'm glad that he's been by my side for so long and i hope it stays that way >V<<br />
    Kim-Ly Nguyễn AKA Vietnam (Vanvor) - She's Yao's sister and a very good friend of mine. She's always so friendly and sweet, and i care about her very much c: (SHE ALSO HAS TOO MANY MULE ACCOUNTS >||D ) Viet is a grade-A sweetheart and likes to hit people with her ricepaddle |D -ricepaddle'd- She's also very good at supplying me with ...very interesting pictures |D; She's going to marry Goyra (Male!Ukraine) one day and make tons of Ukraininemese babies! o / <br />
    Emrys AKA Wales (Flying Wales) - This Signor. I just... I can't even express how happy i am to have him as a friend ; u; Whenever i'm sad, angry, or even drunk, he would always be one of the first to jump up and make sure i was okay. He's always so kind to me and his hugs are amazing~ ; v; He also has nice, curly hair~ o vo But really, i can't describe how glad i am to have him as my friend. I don't know what i'd do without him = u=~ He also likes to poke my tummy. Then we end up in a poking war and all chaos ensues. What a great pal o/ |D<br />
    Sadiq Anann AKA Turkey ( ll Turkish Delight ll ) - Turkey is a very amazing Signor~ o vo He calls me his 'Tulip' and would always defend me when his sister Sabiha was being a cagna~ |D He's also a very...very good dancer >v>;; And is teaching me how to dance as well~! : D<br />
    Scotland-Barcley-Kirkland - A friend that i miss very dearly. He sadly isn't around anymore, but he'll always remain i my heart. Even though our time gaps were quite large, i'd look foward to talking to him every day and embrace every second we got to chat. Scot will always be one of my best friends. <br />
    Alex AKA Fem!Australia (Fem Australia) - This dear is such a mood-brightener. I don't get to talk to her too much, as our time zones are quite different, but the occasional times we do get to chat she's just a joy to talk to. If only we weren't so far apart, i'd talk to her every day! >_< <br />
