Gender: Female
Age: 20
Class/Job: High Thief

General Appearance;
Height: 5’9”
Hair Color: Salmon Pink
Eye Color: Amber/Gold
Headgear: Smokie Leaf
Extra Gear: Talaria has an old Gentleman’s Pipe, which she does not use in battle or where it may come to harm. She can be regularly seen smoking in pubs or campsites however, as it belonged once to her beloved Grammy.
Her Thief Uniform is also not the standard colour, but a soft cream colour with slight pinkish highlights. She also has a satchel across her shoulder filled with Potatoes and other consumables, not to mention a spare outfit and other items necessary to survive. She carries nearly her whole life inside the enchanted bag.
Appearance Description: Talaria is a thin almost boyish looking female. If it wasn’t for her long salmon coloured hair and love for feminine clothing, she’d most likely be thought of as a male all the time. She has nearly no cleavage, and because she has almost no body fat at all what little muscle she has stands in stark contrast.
Her skin is a dark caramel from having grown up in and around the deserts of Morroc.
Her afore mentioned hair reaches almost to her knees and falls in soft waves, shorter locks frame her face. Her large surprised looking eyes are often glassy as if Talaria is not completely of this world, however they hide a very sharp mind. Her slightly biggish nose is framed with a stripe of freckles. She has knobbly knees and looks altogether ungraceful.

Detail;
Personality: Talaria is a blunt slightly sarcastic person, which stands in contrast with her looks, however one should not be fooled. She has no patience for what she considers childish behaviour and prefers not to deal to much with children. Forgetting often, she was still a child herself. The only time the young thief shows much happy emotion at all is when she’s eating sweet potatoes to which she’s entirely addicted. She does not understand the world doesn’t resolve around her, and that not everybody cares what she wants or not.
Talaria is also a very lonely person, having not a single good friend at all. She has her acquaintances, but they do not know her very well, nor she them.
The thief is a passive person, preferring to put the least amount of energy into everything she does. Not because it’s more efficient, but because she’s lazy. However, if she puts her mind to do something, she will obsess until it is done. Preferably with much mental complaining.
History: The Sograt desert is a dangerous place for just about anyone, and Morroc is not much better. The Alsviðr family was part of a nomadic guild that spent most of it’s time there. This led to more then the it’s fair share of trouble, thankfully they were a diverse bunch that travelled more or less safely and without worry.
They were merchants and collectors who travelled to all the reaches of Rune Midgard and beyond to collect riches and luxuries.

Because of the circumstances of her living Talaria Alsviðr grew up to be both ridiculously spoiled by rich parent ,who could give her anything she desired, and more of an adult then most children were supposed to be. She was the only child in the company and never learned how other children behaved, nor what it was like to share. If she wanted something she took it, and if there was a problem with that… Well, that’s what her parents were for.

The only one who ever attempted to teach the young thief any morals at all was her grandmother, who as an accomplished alchemist travelling with the guild. She was a shrewd woman with a good moral compass she didn’t often use in trades, yet tried to make Talaria learn how the world really worked. She failed for the most part. Until disaster struck.

Not a month after the girl had turned 8, and started as a novice with the permission of her parents, the guild was attacked in the desert. Monsters she’d never seen before, let alone stood a chance against, attacked in droves. Frozen with eyes open wider then they’d ever been before she watched her loved ones get slaughtered. Blood splattered in her hair and drenching her clothes as they desperately tried to fight back.
They were tired however, from a successful run to collect diamonds in one of the nearby pyramids. One by one they fell and Talaria watched it all, hidden in a caravan.
Monsters were being killed left and right, but her people were falling just as fast. Eventually only she was left. For hours she sat there, staring straight ahead, unable to even move. Pinkish tears trailed across her cheek, smearing the blood splatters even further.

When finally she moved night had long since fallen, and the cold desert air woke that which had shut down. Screaming loudly, half sobbing, she threw herself at the cooling bodies. Tearing clothes and skin to wake up that which would never again do so. Rocking back and forth. There was nothing she could do now however.

Much later, she had collected all the of value in one of the carts, took an enchanted satchel and filled it with her personal items. Photographs, journals, her grandmothers old pipe. From one of the corpses she took what would become her personal weapons later on and equipped them for slight protection encase monsters would once more come. For whatever good it would do.
Burning the corpses so the smell of blood wouldn’t call more monsters, as she had learned from one of the hunters, she left behind the rest of the caravan and took only the cart with her.

She would later store most of what was now hers in kafra headquarters not knowing what she had, and therefore not really having any use of it. Although there were some very powerful weapons and items there.

Having to make her own way in life was not something Talaria was prepared for. It was a hard world out there, especially in Morroc where she was now stuck. A novice could not travel like a guild of high level adventurers could, everyone she had close contact with was dead. What was she to do?
Stuck on the streets, having lost the money she had to thieves and paying for her stay in a high-class inn, she soon became an avid drops hunter. That not being enough, the young girl soon fell to the noble art of the Pickpocket.
And so her journey as a thief began.
