    I personally don't like music played on the standard radio the majority of the time because it isn't very interesting. Minus a few popular talented musicians, it's all auto-tune, absent lyrics, and no substance. If you listen to the radio and like it, that's fine. I have my likes, and you have your likes, so let's just keep it at that. <br />

    Most of my days are spent reading and writing. I'm always at my goddamn laptop typing away either essays or creative writing. I'm reading fanfiction a majority of the time, but I also read a lot of paperback books and plays as well. I did a 20 page paper recently on Henrik Ibsen and George Bernard Shaw, and now am obsessed with Enemy of the People. Sadly, I have yet to see this play or others performed by actors. I should get on that.<br />

    I nerd and geek over unnecessary things. I worship Rocky Horror Picture Show and I'll admit to liking anime, especially Hellsing, BlackJack and Dogs, Bullets, and Carnage. I'm infuriated that Skip Beat! is progressing slowly and I'm going to my second con this Halloween dressed as Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service. I'm a nerd, and I'm sure as hell proud of it. <br />

    I love film. Especially foreign flicks. I'm currently contemplating majoring or minoring in film, but that is susceptible to change. My father runs an independent movie theater where I live, so I've been shown fantastic movies all my life and I love them. Pedro Almodóvar is one of my favorite directors, and I've been recently obsessed with Katherine Hepburn. The Lives of Others has been my favorite film since it came out in 2006, and I'm sure that won't change for a while. <br />

    edit/sortof: I'm looking this "About Me" over and you have no idea how utterly oversimplified this is. I tried to make it as short and sweet as possible, but that's never really been my style. Also, to clarify misguided perceptions, I am not indie, emo, or goth. People have tried to classify me for years, but they always wind up somewhere gray. I guess I'm just "different" (cue a Wes Anderson fox making funny hand movements here). I prefer that, since I find labels off-putting in the first place.
