    The below is left here for archival purposes. I am not the same person I was when I wrote this profile more than a decade ago, but I also don't want to be ashamed of my past self and delete it all (though I will admit: the cringe reflex is strong. I firmly believe that rejecting the impulse to cringe at your past self, and instead celebrating the silly things you used to do that brought you joy, is a form of self-care.)<br />

    Instead, I want to leave this here as a sort of time capsule of the person I was when I was a Gaia regular. I don't really want to "update" my profile, since I'm not really here to settle in, per se.<br />

    For context, I'm writing this bit circa July 2022, and my guess is that the main profile would have been written sometime in 2009 or 2010.<br />

    It seems like it would be really conceited to describe myself as a nice person, but that's the kind of person I strive to be. I guess I'm kind of shy, but in spite of that, I DO like meeting new people! So I probably won't mind if you randomly comment or PM me.
