• If only the moon shone brightly on the people's faces.
If only I could be what everyone wanted.
If only everyone was what I could be.
My name is Alice Maley. My powers are extrodinary compared with everyone else. If everyone was just like me, we'd all be in war, competing with eachother to be the only left of my kind.
I can't be hurt, I can't even feel pain. And the other side to that I can't see.
I am 110% blind. I walk around the streets, trying to be normal, trying to be just like everyone else.
Darkness breaks the sky and now...I can become what I really am. It all started in the hospital.
I got beat up one day in the alley walking home from school. I was an orphan thrown away from everyone else. Everyday, I always wandered why nobody wanted me. I was so alone, with no friends. But all that changed. I went to school and did my usual boring day, but two guys followed me and jumped me.
I didn't know what to do and the next thing you know, I wake up alone in the hospital. Wired hung limply from my arms and legs, even my head. The doctor walked in the room and when I opened my eyes, the room began to shake heavily. The doctor couldn't even shut the door as a large bolt of lightning struck the floor of the room, shaking it even harder. The doctor screamed loudly and held his head in his hands. He shouted something, but I couldn't hear anything he said from the noise of the lightning.
Sure, I was scared of everything going on, but the again, I couldn't see. Panicking, I grabbed the bed railings and helped myself up. I blinked and took small breaths. The needles and tubes in me slowly fell from my skin. Lightning struck again and again. I closed my eyes and fell backwards, passing out. What was this power? How did I become so strong? Was this a reward for my punishment, or a punishment for my failure?
