• Lionel took another pull from his cigarette, glancing at his watch. Where was she? It was almost ten o'clock already, it didn't take that long to track down her prey any other time. He flicked the cigarette to the ground, taking a peek around the corner again. It's too dark to see down the street, frustrating Lionel even more. Just when he is thinking of her punishment, a short, thin girl appears from around the corner. "Where the hell have you been," he asks her attempting to sound menacing.
A look of amusement settles on the girl's face. "I've been doing what you ordered me to do. These people aren't easy to find you know." She pushes him into the wall playfully, pissing him off even more. Her long black hair is pulled back into a ponytail, revealing her pale face and pink lips. She was getting thinner every day without the energy, so was he.
"It has never taken you this long before, what was the problem," Lionel asks trying to sound disgusted with her. He knew it would never work, he could never be truly angry with her she was everything he had and he loved her more than anything else in the world.
"It's a special treat babe, just for you. The energy from these targets will sustain us for months I promise," she bounced up planting a wet kiss on his cheek. Lionel wiped his face in annoyance and sneered at her angrily.
"Elina quit playing around, we don't have time for this if we fail tonight's hunt I don't think we'll survive another day." Lionel looked around the dark, empty street. It was a great location, no people, nothing but old abandoned buildings. It was rare to even see a car traveling down the rat infested street. Elina had done her job well and found the perfect spot for their feeding.
She looked up at him, her entrancing eyes bright with excitement. "Oh Lionel you won't believe what I have got for us today. You're going to be so proud I know it!" She began to dance around him, bringing a smile to his face. His Elina, his beautiful Elina, what would he do without her? Elina abruptly stops dancing, a look of surprise in her eyes. "They're coming Lionel!" "I can hear them! I will bring them for us." She runs off back around the corner of the building disappearing into the darkness.
Minutes pass by slowly, Lionel can hear voices coming from the darkness. He can feel his heart pulsing with excitement. It is almost time to feed. Dodging quickly behind a rusted fence, he closes his eyes and draws forth his energy, blending himself in with the darkness. Gathering the night around his body like a cloak. The prey would never see the attack coming.
Elina appeared from around the corner bouncing around joyfully. Three figures follow behind her, talking and laughing with young Elina as she leads them into a fatal trap. "Oh don't worry, I think I can handle all three of you pretty well." Elina giggles playfully, dancing around the three figures. Lionel's eyes begin to adjust to the darkness as the three figures became more clear to his sight. There were two men and one woman. There was something oddly familiar about the trio that Lionel couldn't quite put his finger on. Something was strange about the way they walked, almost floating. A streetlight standing tall above them flickered and popped on revealing Lionel's prey.
"Oh Elina, you have done your job very well tonight." Lionel licks his lips with the thought of the coming treat. He can already feel their enticing, dark energy flowing throughout his body as he dreams of stealing it from them. He can hear their screams in the night, not of pain, but of ecstacy. Screams of pleasure will leave their lips as he feeds from their souls, smiling as they enjoy the pleasure leading to their deaths. Vampires. Elina had brought him three beautiful vampires. He already could see how she had lured these magnificent creatures of the night. Making them think that she was the prey, it was an excellent trap and Elina would be rewarded for it later.
One of the vampires walks slowly around the back of Elina, smiling to his friends. Lionel can see their deep blue eyes, illuminated by the street light. Pale skin, long hair, and sharp fangs as they smile at Elina seductively. The girl steps in front of Elina kissing her lips softly, whispering something into her ear. Elina laughs out loud, causing the vampira to jump back in shock. "No," Elina says still giggling. "I've been hunting you for a very long time." The vampires look around at each other, confused looks upon their faces. Elina laughs loudly again and the trio moves in for the attack, ignoring her insane outburst. It was time for Lionel to reveal himself.
He steps from the darkness swiftly, leaping onto the closest vampire, knocking him into the streetlight. Elina roars mightily, grabbing the vampira by her slender throat with great strength. The vampire tries to claw her away from the girl's strong grip in vain. Elina laughs as the small scratches on her arm vanish almost immediately. The vampire that Lionel had attacked stood up with great speed, hissing at his attacker. He lunges himself at Lionel, catching a quick foot to the face. The vampire flew back to the ground, blood flowing from his nose into his lips. Lionel throws himself onto the vampire kissing him roughly on the lips.
The vampire gasps in pleasure at the kiss, his energy being taken from his body. Lionel kisses him deeper, letting the life flow through him freely. He basks in the pleasure of it, feeling the vampire gasp as he takes his last breath. Lionel stands up from his limp, lifeless prey. He feels stronger, the new strength coursing through his body. There was more feeding to do tonight.
Elina had already finished off the vampira and was battling with the last vampire, throwing him into the rusted fence that Lionel had emerged from. The vampire kicked her off fiercely pounding a fist into her skull. Elina fell back from her prey hitting the concrete. The vampire jumped onto her, jabbing his knees into her stomach. "What are you monsters," he asked, fear causing his voice to tremble. Elina tried to push the creature off of her punching his already wounded face. The vampire hissed in rage and began pounding Elina's head into the concrete mercilessly.
Lionel calls forth his new found strength and rushes upon the vampire attacking his beloved Elina. The vampire looks up from Elina, screaming in fear as the tall, thin man tackles him into the sidewalk. Elina gets up from the ground, her face bleeding from countless sources. She rushes to Lionel's aid and they take turns feeding off the helpless vampire.
Wounds healed, broken bones mended, and their hunger for life satiated, Elina and Lionel stand up from the vampire, satisfied smiles on their faces. Elina wraps her arms around Lionel. "I told you it would be a treat babe, didn't I?" Lionel looks into her eyes and sees the energy of the new life flowing throughout her. They wouldn't need to hunt for months. The dark circles were missing from her eyes, returning her stolen beauty to her once more.
"Yes Elina you have done very well tonight. Very well," Lionel replies hugging her tightly to him. The vampire could have killed her. Killed his sweet Elina. He kissed her softly on her forehead. "Let's go home Elina, you deserve a reward tonight."
Elina giggles softly breaking away from his grip. "What kind of surprise?"
Lionel grins at her evilly. "It's a treat."
