• He sat out on the lawn at night waiting, hoping, praying that the light would come soon. It's noth that he cared for the light or the dark, but he just wanted to be... normal, which he could never be. He had been changed thre years ago, and he had killed three years ago.
He had always thought that this life was a better one. He was wrong. He had to feed every week to keep from going insane, and being around so many humans during the day made that feeding drive worse.
Humans naturally had more life essance making them the primary food source for his kind. He didn't need human blood to survive but, at the same time, he did. He didn't know what to do with his immortal life.
He had a hard time just restisting the blood that surged throught every one and every thing, but he managed. That had been controable until she came along.
When she came along, he could barely keep him self from wanting to go to the hollow of her neck and feed. Her name he had never caught, but he never needed it. All he needed to know was that she was safe and sound.
He had just come out of his thoughts when he saw the sun come over the mountains. Yes, he thought as he got up to go back in side.
He couldn't wait to get to school, to see her. Her with her long blond hair, blue eyes, and perfectly tanned skin.
He stopped his thoughts there. He had to avoid her. He had to protect her from the other dangers of the world. He had to do both... But how?
His parents, before they had died, had once said that in order to do things the right way, you have to do them the wrong way. He never knew what that meant.
He got on the school grounds and saw her. She was standing in a circle of people examining her. He causally made his way over there to see what was going on.
He had to shove his way through the crowd of people before he saw what happend. She had a cast on her right foot and crutches.
He stood there wide-eyed untill the bell rang, then he was on his way to homeroom.
He decided to go to her house that night and kill her so he wouldn't have to see what she had done.
For the rest of the day he had his thoughts on her, and how he was going to kill her. He was going to suck the life out of her.
Atlast night had came and the humans slept unaware of what he was going to do.
He got to her house with out breaking a sweat and climbed the tree next to her room in no time at all.
Her closed window was a small challange but he got it eventually.
He was as closer to her than he had been today, and closer to her neck.
He bent down and started to bite her neck when he began to rethink his plan.
He never had the chance to stop himself from bting all the way before his sharp teeth had but two small holes in her neck. He wanted to stop feeding, to stop taking her life, but her blood was as good as the sweetest honey.
By the time he regretted what he had done, she was long dead.
Sleep forever and float in dreams, he thought grimly.
He waked home with her blood still on his lips. He turned a corner, and just barely had time to noice what had gone through his heart. He wished he would have gotten the chance to say sorry.
He died with in seconds of the wound.
