• The story of Tweet
Tweet is her nick name. She was 10 years old when she found a book about alchemy and mystical practices. It was hid in her basement amongst a group of odd items: A blue cloak, a wand and a beautiful gem on a gold necklace. Upon putting on the necklace it began to glow. She opened the book and began to read the book aloud. There were several interesting little poems in the columns. She read on and next thing you know her face turned into the face of a mouse. Then she read another and her ears turned into elfin ears and then she acquired a cat tail. It wasn’t till her black cat turned into a cute little puppy that she noticed the changes. She immediately closed her mouth and began to study the book earnestly to learn how to become normal again

She has a special group of friends that she has met since that day. The first of which was due to her trying to move in time to change her reality. Unfortunately she made a one word error and ended up going into the future where she met her best friend.

For years Tweet studied her book never to whisper a word. On her 15th birthday she decided to do her first incantation since the day in the basement. She was very confident that she had the incantation correct. She strongly waved her wand all around and said the magical words. A whirling bubble appeared around her. Next thing you know she was standing by the remnants of a building, that was some how familiar. As she perused the area she saw a desolated valley. “Oh s**t! She thought. This is not last week.” She looked into her book. She knew she had made a very grave mistake. She studied the incantation and found she had translated a word incorrectly, but she did not know how to undue the problem.

She knew first she had to find out where she was. She could see debris from what looked like a past society. Had she been transported to an area in where excavating has been done for a archaeological site. She kept feeling a bit of familiarity with the space around her. Then a man came around the corner that let her know this was not a archaeological site. She knew now that this wasn’t even from the past. She looked upon Goroff with fear.

    Goroff
Goroff dresses in Black and wears a helmet and gloves that glowed. His right hand glisten a beautiful blue. His left hand seemed to illuminate a bright red. His helmet gave a look of a skeleton glowing within. On his back he carries a staff that seems to have the sun nestled in its crown. Around his neck he wore a gold necklace with a gem that kindled a bright blood red glow, much like Tweet666’s necklace.

Having been raised in a harsh environment he grew up much faster emotionally then Tweet666. He was 16 when he met her. He had been looking for food, but then he always looks for food. He was raise in a large family and food was always a major issue. As a child he was very small. When he left home at nine he pledge he would never go without food again. He grew into a strapping young man. Since acquiring his helmet no one saw his real face again. He was ashamed of his childlike appearance. He had a reputation to uphold. When meeting Tweet, he was infatuated from the first sight of her. It was if they were sole mates from afar. For the next 10 years they would travel together. He would teach her about her necklace protective powers. She would give him a gift to help him find more food. It was a little robot Goroff named Botty.

During the time that Tweet was with Goroff she became half-octopus. But then that is her story. They also learned of the gems capability of keeping them connected as long as each wore them. Although they became separated in time, they were in constant link with each other.

    Ten Years of the Future.
She never really figured out just how far in the future Goroff lived. She only knew it was long after a horrid disaster. There were no buildings left from her times untouched. The land had mended itself many times over. New forms of plant life had covered much of the ground. Animal life was all mixed up. Animals that you would expect to see swimming the oceans now had legs or arms and inhabited the Gaia. Those that were land bound now found the sky and the oceans more appropriate for there new forms. Humans were less changed. In fact only those that wanted the abilities of animals acquired them. Of course with those abilities came a different look. Unfortunately it also changed the eating pattern of the average Gaian. No longer could they eat any animal life form. As the more you ate the more you would become that animal physically. Humans that wanted to stay human had to become vegetarians. Unless of course you were so evil that you would survive of the meat of fellow Gaians.

Tweet spent her time searching the land for food for her and Goroff as he taught her how to protect herself. He liked gadgets that he could call out there powers to protect him. She was more into using the elements and of course the knowledge she had in her book. During her time in the future she became an excellent alchemist and mystic. The one thing she just couldn’t stand not having was octopus. Over the ten years she walked the land in the future she found she just could not go without a bite of octopus from time to time. So, eventually her legs turned into two octopus legs. It did make her a formidable opponent. Goroff worried about Tweet. He didn’t want her to change. So even though it meant loosing her physical presence he helped her go back to her own time. That is a story for later.

For now lets describe future Gaia in more detail. The world took on some serious reformation over the years. There were large carved out areas and sections of Gaia were totally scorched. But with time most of it was repaired by “mother nature.” New towns had grown were there were once was unused land. The towns that once were had become memorials of the past. A new world had immersed. Slowly the harsher days were ending. Only the outskirts still were rich with lawlessness of the barbarian times. That period had ended, but the trappings of the period still influenced the attire worn by the people of Gaia.
