    ~The mission!: Into the Forest of Demons!~


    Naruto had just gotten back from the Land of Water and as normal he found himself wondering about his older sister Akira. 'Akira...died on a mission five years sgo...' He thought looking at the sky rembering her eyes and what she always told him. "I'll always be with you, just look over your shoulder!" Akira's voice rang through his head. Naruto had been told that Akira had died on an S-rank mission.

    "NARUTO!" Another female voice ran through his head now. Though this voice was not as careing has Akira's was. It was Sakura yelling at him again. "Would you listen to Kakashi-sensei!? We're getting a mission!" She said turning back to Sensei. "Uh thank you Sakura-chan...anyway our mission is to search for the thing in the Forest of Demons and take it down or just prove that's it's nothing to worry about." Kakashi-sensei said. "Now we may have to stay there for a few days so does everyone have their camping gear?" He asked getting nodds from his students.

    Naruto didn't like that idea either way. He had heard stories about that forest and he believed them too. "B-but shouldn't some else do this? I mean we are only genin and the stories about that place..." He said trying, and failing, to get Kakashi to change his mind. "Hmph...scardy cat..." Sasuke said makeing Naruto slightly angry. "No Naruto, it's only a C-rank mission. The claims of demons aren't even true." Kakashi reasured him. 'The demons arne't real, but the real threat is' He thought.

    After much more talking and a whack or two to the head squad seven went out to The Forest of Demons. "I want everyone to be carefull and stay together. C-rank or not this forest is very easy to get lost in." Sensei said walkinf into the forest closely followed by Sakura, then Naruto and last Sasuke. Kakashi camly lead the way, Sakura was holding onto Kakashi's arm, Naruto was looking around all over, and Sasuke had a 'I could be doing something else right now' look on his face. It was very quiet as they walked deeper into the woods, they all started to get the feeling of being watched or stalked by something. Once or twice Sakura would see something in a tree only at a second look nothing was there. Naruo could've sworn he saw a person behind a tree, but also no one was there.

    Kakashi stopped in a clearing and sat down his bag. "Alright here's a good place to set up camp" He said while the rest set help set up three tents. One was for Kakashi, one for Sakura and one for Naruto and Sasuke (as much as they argued about it). By the time it was midnight they had a fire going and Kakashi had caught a few fish from a nearby river. "This place gives me the creeps..." Sakura said at last anf held onto Sasuke's arm. "Let go." Sasuke said and she did, much to her dislike. They sat there in silence again just looking at the fire and eating the eating the fish. It wasn't to long though when a branch or two snapped clearly and loudly. Sakura screamed.
