• "I just want a person next to me at all times," said the girl while her clasped hands were at her chin while she looked at the moon. The shining full moon that resembled the sign of her necklace that she was given by her mother who had died in a car accident. SHE had long light colored hair just like her eyes that were almost dim from the thought of her parents once more.

"How about I help you?" asked someone from inside the room. She turned around startled and her back against the open window.

"How did you get in here?" she asked horrified. She looked at him with her eyes wide open. His eyes were golden and also a hint of red was mixed in. When he came to the moonlight, his face was completely shown, all pale and almost ready to die. However, he looked lively and energetic, he was young and very muscular. His clothings showed his muscles of his torso and a jacket worn over that. His pants were long and loose on him.

"How? You don't have to know right now...but your wish. You wish for someone to stay by your side till when?" he asked. The girl was drawn to him. FOr some reason, she had the urge to tell him her answer.

"I want him to stay with me till the day I die..." she said.

"What's your name?" he asked and with a grin he just licked his lips and waited for his answer.

    "Lynne..." she said almost sadly.

"Lynne, what if that man doesn't love you back? Can you still stand that?" he asked.

"I can," and Lynne looked at him. His fangs were shown and with an instant, a bite landed on her neck.

She was down and finally Lynne woke up in her bed that morning. She sighed. "Just a dream...of course...how could a vampire ever exist?" Lynne asked while she got out of bed, however, she felt someone behind her and then two long arms reached and pulled her back into teh bed. He lied down on his side with Lynne looking straight at him. At first, seh wanted to scream, but before her mouth was almost all open to yell for help to her neighbors, cold lips landed and sealed it shut. He pulled back leaving a small sound.

"Sh..." he said whiel putting his long finger to her lip. "It's okay...that wasn't a dream...sleep more...I"m tired," he said. He fell to a deep slumber. For an hour, Lynne was hassling and racking through her head about what was going on, why was there a man still there, the vampire that is. It was so strange. Seh launched up and she went in front of hte mirror to find that there were still two faint holes in her neck where he had sucked out of her.

    "What's going on?"

"You made a wish, and I"m only fulfilling it...from now on, I"ll stay by your side..." he said. "But I can't love you back..humans are very interesting, it'll be fun to stay by one...the minute I bit you, we sealed our contract, although I drank more than I had to," he said with a grin on his face. He was even more handsome. His golden eyes almost as beuatiful as honey, his dark hair in contrast with his eyes. His red lips and his pale face. Why was he was so handsome in every way? But why was he so rude? SHe wished that he wasn't.

Lynne tried to get him out, she had to get ready for school, her senior year in her small village and she was exicted but now that a man had entered her life, she wondered if it'll be ever fun again. She walked out with her uniform on. He was still in his tight sleevless black torso with black leather jeans that he must have changed into sometime last night. His jacket was put on him and he walked out. When there were more people, his arm went around her shoulders while the girls all watched in awe, he was just handsome and an easy man to fall for.

When she was at school, girls huddled over at Lynne.

    "Who is that?"

    "He's....a friend."

'That kind of friend? I didn't know you went that way...but I can tell why he chose you, you're so small and so petite for a senior girl...I guess he likes smaller girls more than the sexier ones," said one of her friends jokingly but Lynne didn't want anyon ethinking like that.

During break, he came over to her and he touched her shoulders. Lynne shoved it off.

"How rude? Can't you stay away from me? I've only known you for only a couple hours!" Lynne said angrily. She pushed him away and walked away, away from school.

While she was walking, she was reflecting what she had done, what did she really do? She just pushed him and ran away. But why did that also feel painful? Why did her heart throb at every foot she stepped further away from him? Her eyes were watering, maybe he hated her now...who cared? Right?

"Lynne!" said a baker from the stall. "What are you doing out from school?"

"Pressure," Lynne lied with a straight face.

"i see...how is that man of yours doing?"

    "Who?"

"The man who brings you the bread every morning to your house."

"Wasn't that you?" Lynne asked confused.

"No...a tall and handsoem man, he was pale and had awkward golden eyes, he always brought different kind of bread and said that he was giving to a girl that he enjoyed so much..." the man said and then Lynne knew who it was. She turned around to go back to him. Why hadn't she realized it? Every morning, someone had brought bread over, seh had always thought it was the baker, but now she was wrong, it was him, she didn't even know his name. while she was running, a hand stoppped her and pulled her over to the alley.

"Hey cutie," said a bunch of boys who were also ditching school, they looked at her wtih their lustful eyes, they were readyt o eat her up. SHe was cute and they wanted her.

'What?!" Lynne asked in anger as she wanted to go to him before it was too late for an apology.

"Play with us," they said. She was suddenly pinned to the wall and her hands were of no use and her legs were the only two things keeping her up. THe boys started to rub her thighs with pleasure and Lynne was startign to despise him, however, her face was startign to turn red and almost scared and she was ready to cry. "Don't cry...it won't hurt after teh first time," he said with a grin.

"No!" Lynne shouted as hard as she could. "Help me...please!" she said. She called out. There was a flapping noise from above. On teh low roof was him, he was there sitting down looking down with his angered red eyes.

    "Who teh hell are you?"

"Dagon...call me out and maybe I"ll help you," he said looking at Lynne who was still pinned. His red eyes were not settled, he was furious but his lips did nto show it.

"Dagon! Help me!" she shouted and her sweet voice alerted Dagon to move, his whole body was in motion as his attacks were fast and hard, then finally, Lynne was away from them, her wrists were red and she blew on them. But two cold hands held them.

"Let's cool it down," he said while his eyes started to die down.

    "thank you..."

    "FOr what?"

"Saving me, taking care of me, and even when I didn' tknow...." Lynne said. "That food's been coming in after my mom died...where were you this whole time?"

"I'm a man who travels....I'll leave soon enough.." Dagon said getting up and turning his back. However, Lynne's body moved on its own and she grasped him.

"No...don't go," she said with her cheek so close to his back that was nearly considered warm.

    "Hm..."

"Tell me...why did you decide ot help me?"

"You were a crying sad girl when your parents died, I felt pity for you at first...but when your brother had died, no tears and no wails were given to him. Everybody thought you were brave, but deep down you were crying? You went to your room and you cried your heart out...I saw everything...but why does it have to be a human?" he asked while his hand ran through his hair in dispair. "That pitiful soul that I sought out, and yet it was so beautiful...I wished that i could just tear it apart yet I wanted to put it back together...everything you do is so confusing, you smile and smile and yet you turn your back and cry..." he said. "you confuse me, you're almost using me," he said. He turned around, he towered over her.

With a slight tilt of her head, he leaned in, launching a kiss at her with almost in a split-second, but this time...she returned. Why hadn't she realized before? It was almost meant for it. She was starting to fall in love with him, but this was only one step stone for her, maybe later...she'll know what it feels liek to truly feel destined together.
