• I walked to school as usual, I notice i hadn't seen Mia once yet. This surprised me a bit. I sort of missed her company. It was the day of the festival so i had to see her after school. When lunch started i walked up to the blossom tree i usually eat under and just sat there resting a little, but when i got there, i saw Mia sitting on a picnic blanket. She wore a Aqua colored dress and she looked beautiful.
    She saw me and waved to me telling me to come quickly. I walked to her, but not for any other reason but curiosity.
    "Hey Kai! Do you like my dress i bought yesterday night?" she smiled at me and sat back down with her arms holding herself up from behind.

    I couldn't resist but tell her. "You look beautiful" When she heard what i said she started to bush and started to say "You are too CORNY!!!" She was really red though, but it made her look even better.
    She grabbed my hand and pulled me down next to her but i ended up with one hand on each side of her body. I looked at her and blushed a little as well. She hugged me tightly but softly. I place my arm around her waist and she whispered "I promise i will come back to you Kai..."

    I pulled back and looked at her. "What do you mean by come back..."

    Her face was back to normal but a bit sad. "My parents want to take me to Tokyo for a better school, because my grades have been a bit low."

    I held onto her arms and looked at her in regret. "You can't leave now! I-I..." i let go of her arms and looked away from her as i felt really regretful now. "I just started to understand"

    Mia touched my hand and looked at me. "I will be back on my next birthday..., but can i enjoy the rest of the day with you?"

    I nodded as i laying against the tree with her laying on me. The blossoms started to snow down as we enjoyed the blossoms together. We stayed there together all day and night. But by the next morning. She was gone, i sighed and looked at the bare branches of the trees.

    "i will wait for you Mia, and until your next birthday, i will work hard."

    That is how come i am in this situation now, i found out a week ago, she got married into another family. Now all i feel is pain, regret, and sorrow. I don't know why, but i still feel the same about her though. I lived out the rest of my days working a part time job as a chef and every now and then i would find girls that want me, but i will never forget her.
