• As I watched the Dogwood tree that shadowed my mothers grave slowly burn before my eyes something in me broke."No,no,no,no Papa we have to save her." It was like the dam that held all my tears back was slowly starting to crack and crumble. "Get her out of here!" my father yelled to the boys that fell from the sky as he fought off the evil looking creatures. He grabbed me around my waist and shimmering purple wings sprung forth from his back. I knew what was about to happen, "Papa, I don't want to leave you!" I screamed after him. "Anon, I love you, and I couldn't stand to loose you. Go with him and only trust the Dogwood!" After that i heard nothing, nothing but the beating of the heart and wings of this boy my father had entrusted my safety to and the sound of my own sobbing. At this point the only thing I could truly tell was that where ever this boy was taking me it lay far above the clouds.
