• The demon let out a bloody howl, and raised its weapon, ready to attack. Noah quickly took shelter behind a boulder and reloaded his gun. This foe wasn't going down. "Dammit," Noah cursed out loud. He was running low on ammunition, and once that ran out, he only had the blade to rely on, which against an opponent this heavily armored wouldn't help much. Ammy stood behind a tree a good distance away from Noah's hiding spot. She was unaware that Noah was here, and hid, ready to fight. She had a sword ready, but he knew that wouldn't do much good. He had to get her attention; but how? The demon's allies were probably close by, and if Noah wasn't careful with the demon they would come running. Plus, there were students as well as civilians nearby. He had enough trouble dealing with one; twelve was an unthinkable number. It would be a massacre. Overhead, the roar of an airship could be heard from miles around. Noah still had many questions he wanted answered; why was an airship over Issac's school? Why were these creatures here? He only knew that Issac was on that ship, and he needed help. Noah then decided on his plan of action. It involved Ammy's help to kill the lone demon, and run as fast as he could to the roof of the school building. There, he could board the airship. With this in mind, he jumped out into the open, and threw a rock at the demon's head. It turned to Noah, and roared once more.

It began to charge. Ammy HAD to know about him now. He looked over, and saw her crouched, aiming a bow. "Perfect," he thought. Noah quickly yelled over in her direction. "Aim for the neck! That's its only weak spot!" She didn't look away from her target; she knew what to do. Green threads of magic had twirled around her left arm, and grew until they were entangled over the arrow. She pulled harder, and the threads grew thicker into a blood red color. Ammy realeased her arrow, and in less than a second it buried itself into the demon's neck. The threads had streched onto its head, and started to shrink. The beast was about to let out a yell of pain, but the threads were too quick; they grew tighter and crushed the demon's head until it exploded in a bloody mess. The demon fell into a bloody heap, and before Ammy knew what was going on Noah had raced by and grabbed her arm, and kept running towards the the school.

    "Noah? What's going on?"

"Run faster! We need to hurry!"
