I was prepared for him to kiss me, so I closed my eyes and brought my lips into kissing mode. I was surprised when I felt nothing moist on them.
I opened my eyes and to my disappointment, he was just staring at me with laughter in his eyes, but he was still holding my face in his hands.
I felt my face turn scarlet as he watched me, chuckling again.
"Oh, Nan. What did you think I was going to do? Kiss you when I just met you?" He asked, trying hard not to laugh.
"Yeah, exactly what I was hoping," I replied.
He brushed my cheek and watched as I turned even a brighter shade of red.
He laughed loudly and I soon found myself giggling. He pulled me close to him, and I snuggled close to him, not meaning to trace his lips.
He stared at me through his golden eyes, and smiled.
"So, where does your mom live?" He asked.
"Pebble Glen,16978, in Crossing at Stone Creek," I replied. He nodded his head and spun his car around to go towards that direction. I sighed heavily and layed my head onto his shoulder. He put an arm around my back and pulled me even closer, close enough for me to smell his minty, pepperminty, scent. I took a big whiff and sighed.
I watched as Houston seemed to zoom past us as we sped off to Crossing at Stonecreek.
His white hair blew in the wind, and his golden eyes would often sneak a glance towards me ad when he caught my eyes, he would smile.
I nearly fainted when he kissed my hand lightly as I stepped out of the car. He grabbed my bags, and helped me carry them to the house. We ringed the doorbell for about six times until my mom answered.
She was surprised to see Michael and then smiled warmly at him.
"Welcome back, Michael. How's your mom?" She asked.
"She's all right m'am. And how are you?" He asked.
"I'm fine. Thank you," She replied. I jerked my thumb over me shoulder, she knew the signal straight away and said her good-byes and left, going inside the house.
"Thanks for taking me here, Michael," I said, looking up to him.
He smiled and leaned down, planting a kiss on my cheek, but I moved my head in time to get his lips. He flinched and stepped back.
"Dammit, Nan!" He exclaimed. I smiled a little, but he didn't. His eyes were icy and cold.
I looked down, but he picked up my face with his hand.
"Not bad, Nanette. It was all right from the beginning of today," He smirked.
I glared up at him, but he picked me up, forced me towards his body, and kissed me. He got me smack dab on my lips. I closed my eyes, but by the time I did, he backed up and tucked my hair behind my ear.
I hugged him, and he hugged me tightly.
"Will you come back tomorrow?" I whispered into his chest.
    I felt him laugh.
"Of course,'' Michael replied. He stepped back and walked back towards his Corvette, opened the door, closed it, and sped off into the dark.
