• As I walked into the room my face was rose red. I didn’t know what to do or what my emotions should be. Would they even like me? Would I be good enough for Rayne? Would they ever consider me a friend?
All of this rushed through my head as I walked with my hand in his. It was the only thing that made me feel safe at this point.
I finally saw the faces of the people who hated my family with a passion, like a burning flame that never goes out. My heart would of stopped beating if I had one.
“Don’t worry they will love you, I promise with my life.” Rayne said as he squeezed my hand gently.
    “Everything will be ok.”
I knew from the sound of his voice and how he said it so calmly that everything was going to be okay even if I thought it wouldn’t be.
I didn’t reply to what he had said, I could tell him I believed him but that wouldn’t help my nerves in any way.
