Being me was no easy thing, was not an easy path I had chosen to take.

    CHAPTER 1
While I stood there, staring up at the moon, I felt a change in the air and whipped my head around.

Standing behind me, was the most beautiful creature I had ever seen. With his short black hair, to his perfectly sculpted body, this was a creature no one ever would take for granted. His skin looked smooth, and was as pale as mine, though I was no where as perfect as he.

He took a measured step toward me, and asked “What are you doing out here all alone?” in a voice like soft velvet. His eyes were mesmerizing, though they were flat black, which should have scared me. I stood up quickly, and answered his question.

“I was thinking” I murmured. I took a step toward him, without a conscious command to. He did the same, without seeming to think about it. The air between us was filled with curiosity and tension, which confused me. He took a step closer, closing the distance between him and me, and then we were no farther then inches from each other.

His sent hit me like a tidal wave, and useable force. I smelled something I couldn’t put a name too, and I tried to compare it to every smell I’d ever smelled, but found no comparison. This overwhelming sent drew me closer to him, and I found myself right up to him.

There was a quite noticeable height difference between him and I, about half a foot. I looked up at his face, barely lit by the moonlight, and lost control.

I leaned up on my toes, and he leaned down, obviously feeling exactly what I was, and his lips crashed down on mine. My world, my worries, everything left my mind, it was just him and me. We were so close together that we really might not even count as two people.

His kiss got more urgent, and suddenly we were falling to the ground. I barely noticed the wet feeling of the dewy grass, it didn’t have my attention. Then his lips left mine, and moved to my throught, to let me breath I guessed.

I was wrong. I felt my skin break where his teeth sunk into my smooth skin. He didn’t linger, and then his lips were back on mine, so at first I didn’t notice the pain. As he kissed me passionately, the pain moved from the centered on the place that he had bit me, on to the rest of my neck. That’s when I finally noticed. I gasped, and he removed his lips, to whisper one thing.

“Sorry” and it was filled with regret, but I couldn’t concentrate, the pain had doubled to the point where I couldn’t concentrate on anything else. Then it went black, as my brain refused the pain.

    CHAPTER 2
I opened my eyes, and into the blue eyes of someone else. This was the man that I had kissed, my mind recalled, but his eyes were black then… I tried to recall what had happened.

He had bit me, and the pain had took over all of my senses. I remember asking myself what was happening, and not having an answer. That’s all I could recall, because my mind had shut down to protect itself.

I felt something, coming from my throat. Ahhh….it hurt. Then I realized what I was needing. Human blood. Then it hit me.

The man that had kissed me, that had bit me, that I was staring at now, was a vampire. Now I was too. This made me angy as hell.

“What. Did. You. Do. That. For” I said through my teeth. I sat up, and stared him in the eyes. He cowered a little, but then sat up tall, reflecting the look of authority.

“I did it because I needed someone” he said arrogantly.
