• It was Christmas and a girl named Allie was getting ready to go to school. "What should I wear today?" she asked herself as she looked in her closet. "This is perfect!" she yelled as she grabbed a blue blouse and dark black jeans. Twelve minutes later, Allie was at the kitchen table eating pancakes and drinking orange juice. "Done," she said as she finished her pancakes and last sip of orange juice. "Can I walk to school today?" "Sure." her mother answered. "Thanks." Allie replied. She pushed in her chair and opened the front door. "Hi, Valerie." she said as she saw her friend from school. "Hi, Allie." Valarie said nicely. Then they both had a race to school. Valarie was faster than Allie. Allie was a lot behind. She was looking through the window of her classroom. She can see her friend Valarie already sitting in her desk. "I better hurry, school starts in three more minutes." she said. Then the wind started blowing. "It was just warm a half second ago." she said as she hugged herself as it was so cold, but she saw the trees not blowing or anybody else being cold outside. Then, ten more seconds, Allie was standing on a snowy path that was super freezing. "Brrrrrrrrr, where am I?" she said with a shiver. "The North Pole?" She walked on the snowy path and kicked at the snow in her way. Then she started putting her hands inside her pockets. She kept on walking and walking and then the snowy path ended. She looked up and saw a big building. She walked towards it and opened the front door. Then a bell at the top of the door started ringing. "Looks like we have a visitor." a voice not far away said. Then Santa Claus walked towards Allie. "Allie, what are you doing in the North Pole?" he asked Allie. "Santa Claus?" she asked him. "Well of course!" he answered then laughed. "Would you like to take a tour?" he asked Allie. "Well, I don't know." she answered. "Just a short tour around my workshop?" he asked again. "Sure, but only short." she answered. Then she walked with him around the workshop and introduced some of his workers, the elves. Then he took Allie on a ride on his eight reindeer. When they went back to the workshop, Santa Claus asked Allie if she wanted to go to the toy room. "Okay, I guess." she said as she walked with Santa again in the hallway. Then they were standing in front of the toy room door. There was a golden lock on it. "We need a key." Allie said to Santa staring at the lock. "Have it right here." he answered her patting his pocket. Then he looked inside his pocket. "It must be here." he said as he searched for the key. Then he looked in his other pocket and it wasn't there. "It's okay, not a big deal." Allie cheered him up. "Yes it is. All of the toys are in there!" he said upset. "Christmas is ruined and he walked back sadly. She hurried up to catch up with Santa. "Can you still give me a ride home?" she asked him. "Sure why not?" he said sadly still. Then he walked Allie towards the back door and he saw his sleigh and the eight reindeer again. Then she jumped on his sleigh on the back and the eight reindeer started moving the sleigh. Then on the ride, Allie saw Santa Claus's sack. She opened it and saw a golden key! "Santa!" she yelled. "What is it Allie?" he asked her. Then he saw the golden key in her hand. "You found it! he yelled and then Allie felt the wind blowing but no trees were. Then Allie found herself in her bed. "It was just a dream." she said surprised. "Or is it?" She ran to the living room. Then she saw her parents decorating the tree. "Mom! Dad! I went to the North Pole and met Santa Claus! Or was it just a dream?" she said. "I think it was." her parents said to her. "Ho, ho, ho," a voice came outside. Santa Claus opened the door. "Hi Allie!" he said as he saw her. "Hi Santa!" she yelled to him and wave. "Santa?" her parents asked. "Allie, I forgot to give you your present." Santa said as he pulled his sack out and gave her a present. The present wasn't wrapped at all. It was a golden bell. Allie took it away from Santa slowly and then shook it. Then the bell started ringing. "Thanks Santa!" she yelled. "Sorry, it's a little small, but I have more presents for you and your family!" he replied and pulled out presents out of his sack. Then the whole night, the family were opening Christmas presents and drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows and it was the best Christmas ever. The end.
