A young man ran through the woods. He appeared to be at the very least eighteen years old, but it's sometimes hard to tell these things in the dark of night. His pace was blistering. The was no telling just what the hell it was that he was running from. The fog swirled majestically around his body as he stopped for a moment. He was panting. He stood an astonishing six foot eight inches tall. His body was built like a rock. He was wearing a body length black trench coat with a pair of blue jeans and a studded belt and a black iron maiden t-shirt. He stood listening to hear if they were still giving chase. His breath slowed and his eyes slowly dropped closed as he focused on listening "Victor come back. We promise we will not hurt you!" He heard the voices shouting in the distance.
Victor's head dropped "s**t I thought that I had lost those bastards this time." Victor quickly turned and bound off into the woods at his top speed, bobbing and weaving between the trees and changing direction furiously. He was determined to lose them this time. He turned left at a glorious old red oak tree that must have stood at least a mile and half high. He breifly stopped to admire at it's majesty. He continued to run untill he reached a vast lake. He starred in wonder as the moon light shone down upon is haze waters "It's so glorious." He said and closed his eyes letting the breeeze flow under his outstretched arms. He just listened with his eyes shut as the breeze passed through the trees. He heared the dogs and motorcycles and men shouting "Ugggghhhh!" he exclaimed "They have to ruin all my fun." He shouted at the tops of his lungs disturbing the peace of the night.
The men finally caught up with him. One of them stepped forward as the leader of the pack "Come on Victor. It's time to go back to the lab." He said holding out his hand. As he did so Victor took a step back. "Not this time Joe. I don't wana be stuck in that god awful place with all its fake wind and artificial rain and sun. I love it out here Joe. I mean just take a look around." He paused and held up his arms and did a slow spin in the moon light "I'm not..." before he could even finish he was shot in the neck with a tranquilizer dart and dragged back to his cell in the lab.
Victor awoke a few hours later with a blistering head ache. He held his head in his hands, elbows rresting on knees style, "Why the hell can't they just let me frikken be happy for once dammit." Victor let a tear role down his cheek.
