• A sharp pain coursed throughout my trembling body as I fell to the cold, tile floor before me.
"N-no." I thought with a cry of displeasure. "this can't be happening..not" tremoring slightly from the discomfort "again!" The pain raged with the intensity of a burning flame. I felt as though the very life within me was being sucked, drained and devoured. The pain was so unbearable that even light itself had begun to give me massive migraines and excessive stomach ulcers. So the mock bamboo blinds remained closed.Leaving my sallow body sealed away, from life itself. Now, obviously at this point, I must of realized it was more than just your average influenza. Was it the constant vomitting, the headaches, or the blackouts that gave it away? Or maybe even the subconscious “adventures” that I had been on in the dark of the night, usually waking up in my own bed, only covered in a thick crimson coat of blood. I had been to dozens of practitioners and specialists. And yet, they all seemed to have had the same diagnosis. Absolutely nothing.Undetermined.A mystery. A freak. Ugh I hated that word, freak. My body, now fallen victim to the forces of gravity, had began to shake violently as my mind seeped deeper and deeper into a vivid yet blurry, abyss of colors and the unknown. An unknown. That would rather have been kept concealed.
