• Long ago there was an epic battle between the yin and the yang. It was a battle of opposites; they were completely different in every way. Yang was male dragon of light, his gaze could illuminate even the darkest of shadows, whenever he flew in his domain, the sky, he would bring with him the power of the sun, while Yin was a black female tigress of darkness, hers was a cold stare and her shadow brought deep darkness to those who witnessed it, and as she roams the lands she covers them in total darkness. They had a match of power that lasted what felt like an eternity, and the poor Yang was tired for he did not wish to fight, yet Yin mercilessly attacked. Just when his fate would be sealed, a white light covered him protecting him from Yin's devastating blows. He looks up at his savior and finds a female white wolf, ending the fight.

"Why must you fight?" The she-wolf asked.

"It is not of your concern, do not stick your nose where it does not belong!" Yin exclaimed as she charged towards the she-wolf, who moved not an inch away and waited for the right moment, and when Yin was close enough, the she-wolf dug her claws in Yin's throat, making the tigress fall with a soft thud, never to move again. With her death, the sun gave birth to the moon, who shared her light with the stars so every night creatures would not be covered by total darkness. Her fur turned dark, her eyes shining with the beauty of the moon. She was the new Yin. She turned around to Yang to attend to his wounds, but her presence alone restored him to full health.

"I have lost my legs and the will to move, but thanks to you, light and peace have returned to this land, for the old Yin's pride and obsession hath brought to us the age of darkness." Yang told the new Yin, praising to her victory.

"Allow me to be your movement until you're legs have grown back." The new Yin told Yang, lowering herself so the mighty dragon coiled around her without harm. As she got up, she appeared to have moon-white wings and tail, and that scales with the shine of the stars themselves covered her furry body.

They had travelled together since then, bringing forth day and night, showering the sky with stars and the ground with fertility. But across their neverending journey, Yin and Yang came across a long gap that many tried to jump across, but all failed. Yin backed to get momentum for her long jump.

"I will get you home, mighty Yang, to get your legs healed so you regain movement." Yin told her scaly partner and ran as fast at lightning before it's sound, and jumped. Hlafway through the jum, she started lowering, lowering, she would not make it. But Yang whispered in her ear,
"You have been my legs and my movement, my young dear she-wol known as Yin, allow me to be your wings."

Yin felt her weight disappear and Yang extended his wings, and she made it to the other side. When she turned her head to thank the dragon, instead, she saw she had silver wings, claws, and tail of a dragon, though her body was that of a wolf. In her head, she heard Yang's voice, "We are no longer Yin nor Yang, dragon nor wolf, light nor darkness, we are now one, for light cannot live without a shadow, and a shadow cannot be born without its light, and the sky cannot live without the ground, as well as I learned that I cannot live without you, for my love is countless like the stars and fertile like the soil."

Now when we look upon the time of sunset, we can hear Yin's welcoming howl, and at sunrise we can hear Yang's proud roar, reminding us that no matter how different or completely opposite we may be, we are all brethren from the same kin, never able to live one without the other.
