• I knew what was coming before it came. It was just waiting for me to go further into the dark alley I had "by accident" wandered into. I just knew that someone would be waiting there- it is the bad side of NYC, after all.
Sure enough, it happened: one second I'm alone, the next, I feel a pointy thing on my lower back. I stop walking.
"Ok, thats far enough." My "mugger" said. "Drop any valuables you have and run. Do what I say and your life will be spared."
I smile. Exactly what I wanted was now coming to life. My life was in danger, and I was loving the thrill of every second.
Apparently, the mugger didnt want me to savor the moment. "Hurry up and drop everything!" More pressure to my lower back. "Or I swear, I'll-"
"Why do you do this?" I said, not moving a muscle.
"Why? What does it matter to you! Now, GIVE ME YOUR THINGS AND RUN!"
"It does matter, friend." Said I, looking backwards ever so slightly.
"You really want to test me?" He put even more pressure on my lower back.
"No, I just like to play." I grinned even wider.
He must of seen, because he chuckled. "I thought that you saw me, and yet, you kept on going. Why?"
"Because..." I turned quickly and took his weapon (a dagger of sorts) from him. "I wanted to play. Didnt I tell you that already?"
Now weaponless, he raised his hands in the air. "D***!" He said.
"Now, although it is a shame..." I moved quickly and went right behind him. "Its time to end this game."
    *SLASH!*
The man was in shock, and not for the reason you thought (you morbid person, you!) . No, it was because he was in one peice, and his dagger was in the brick wall to the left of him. I, on the other hand, had left that little alley in search of a new one.
    Time to play another game.
