• Have you ever had something happen to you that was so bizarre but then to wake up the next day like nothing had happen, but you know it did. Well this mysterous happening happened to me. I may be just an ordinary sixteen year girl whose name happens to be Lucy Frampton, but this was by far the creepiest thing that has ever happened in my young life. Even though being stuck here in thid boring place, make everyone seem like a crazy person.
It was 2 o'clock in Minneapolis and I was getting ready to meet by the bus stop. We were planning to do our science project at the library. Henry James was nothing like me. For one thing he was a guy and another thing he was kind of a nerd. But not one of those steorotypical nerds, this one was kind of handsome. He had bright red hair with green eyes that shimmered in the light. I just a normal girl with brown hair and brown eyes. Anyways, Henry and I are friends and we were assigned a project to do together. I grabbed my jacket and headed out the door. Henry was waiting for me as the bus pulled up and we entered the bus.
After we got off the bus, paid for the bus fee and took our seats, we discussed about what we were going to do at the library. A couple minutes later i began to have this horrible headache. I closed my eyes and plugged my ears with my index fingers, Henry thought I playing some sort of game so he decided to mock me. The headache only lasted for about a minute. Henry started to shake my shoulders as if to get my attention. Still having my eyes closed, I removed my fingers from my ears.
"Lucy, something is not right." Henry proclaimed.
" What is it Henry!" I yelled at him.
    "Listen" he said.
Nothing. I heard absolutely nothing. This was a noisy bus when we got on it. Henry was right, something is wrong. I didn't hear any people, no engine running, no radio. All I heard was my heart racing and the sound of Henry breathing.
"Lucy open your eyes." he said again.
I opened my eyes. This time I was even more shocked than before. Nothing was moving. The bus wasn't moving, people looked as if they froze in place. I peered out the window. Even the birds in the air were frozen in time. I swear I was dreaming. But I knew I wasn't. I asked Henry what we should do and he said that we should go check at the library to see if there was any information. Luckily the bus's door was open, so it was easy to get out. The library was only two blocks away when we got off the bus. Even then I was still a little shooken up about the whole idea of time suddenly stopping, it was like time didn't even exist. Too weird for words. Henry didn't seem to mind it at all. Although weird happenings do seem to amaze him. That's what I liked about him, he thirst for adventure and surprises. I hate surprises. I hate anything that didn't have an explaination.
When we entered the library it was even quieter than a library should be. I also hate silence. It was torture. Henry decided to look for books on science. I decided to look for books that might have answers to what might be going on in this world at this moment. After about a half an hour flipping through pages and finding nothing I decided to check out what Henry was doing. Henry was perfectly fine, playing chess by him self. I couldn't understand why he brought that with him. I went back to my page skimming. I got kind of bored after another hour of reading nonsense so I took a nap. It was a nice forty-five minute nap, or at least that's what I thought. but when I woke up It was dark, the silence was even more scary. I called for Henry. No answer. I called again still no answer. Maybe he went to the bathroom I thought. So I went by the bathrooms. I slightly cracked the door open and called for him. Again still no answer. I chill went my spine. This worried me so much, no knowing were my friend was.
I kept calling and calling for him, but the only thing that answered back was my echo. I was in complete panic at the point. For some reason I decided to run, but then trip over something. I looked at I tripped over something small. It was Henry's chap stick. I heart started to race again, Henry never goes anywhere with out his chap stick, never. Something was terriblely wrong. I needed to find the answer to this weird mystery and fast. I began run again, hoping to find some kind of clue. Unfortunely I ran into a pole, I knocked myself because of it. While I was in this slumber, I had a weird dream about Henry. but in my dream it was kind of a blur. he kept crying for help.
"Help me. Help me Lucy! Before its too late. Help me before its too late...." He said.
I felt someone knudging me, I'm guessing to wake. I open my eyes and it was the librabrian. I asked her if she seen Henry. She said he was reported dead this morning. but not in the library. They also found his backpack in the bathroom. I think was going crazy again. Because of this I can never be sane again.
