    Target Locked

Hero dashed towards the harbor as fast as his legs would push him, he had only a little time to get there.
"Damn that Seirgei! I knew he was bad from the get go," he mumbled aloud. He continued on running looking around for anything or one suspicious. Looking down he noticed two shadows running instead of one.
"Who," He questioned looking to his right.
"Believe me or not I was hoping never to see you again," she grunted.
"Its you that chick I met at the bank . . . Just the person I was looking for," he replied giving her a look wishing the same.
"How'd you know I was searching for you?" he asked her, changing his look to being a little bit puzzled.
"Let's just say an Airibirdy told me." She answered giving not one straight answer.
"An airibirdy, There's no such species . . ." he thought.
"Whatever," he said aloud, shaking off his thought.
    Whatever what, Kei asked him.
"Just a train of thought, I guess you know why I need you then." He answered changing the subject.
"Unfortunately, your friend Yume was kidnapped by the leader who we heard about at the bank," she explained.
"Yeah, so you're actually going to help me?" he asked another question.
"Well yeah . . . This Chaos guy is pretty serious to go this far to lure you out."
    "Lure me out?"
"Duh, its not that obvious . . . the incident at the bank was just a set up." She explained.
"But how'd he know I was going?" he asked still piecing things together.
"Because of my . . . You followed me and he knows of my abilities. Since you came and did what you did at the bank, he's gained an interest to your abilities," She explained further.
"So I'm a test subject to him?" He asked yet again full of questions.
"Simply, yeah you are," she confirmed.
"More the reason for me to kill him," he resolved speeding his pace up.
"H-hey, Wait up!" She stammered, following behind.
Quite a ways from Hero and Kei sat a youth in a black trench coat, on a roof top shadowed by the sun. The only gleam that came from the figure was the fire red and silver highlighted hair and the dark green light blue rimmed eyes.
"Trigger Lock here, the mutt took the bait as planned Sir. Shall I delay their arrival?" The person radioed in to Seirgei standing up at a height of five foot eight.
"Do as you wish, my right hand man could use a little workout." Just don't make them too late." Seirgei's voice replied to him.
"As you order sir, thank-you", He concluded.
Hero was approaching in the youth's direction fast, Kei not to far behind.
"Yume hold on I'm almost there," Hero thought as he ran. He skidded to a stop leaping backwards noticing a fired shot ripped his sleeve. "Who, what where, Damn I don"t have time for this." He shouted.
"Your reflexes are above normal, this may be a challenge after all," Trigger stated revealing his where about.
"Heh, I guess Chaos let one of his lackeys stall us Kei," Hero spoke to her.
"I plainly see that Hero, but we don't have a lot of time you know," she reminded him.
"I know, I know so let's get this over with," he trailed off as he jumped again avoiding another gunshot from trigger.
"Well reflected even when distracted, impressive." Trigger grinned, charging at Hero.
"Daitou!" shouted Kei, summoning a sword out of thin air.
"Hero catch!" she called to him tossing the blade his way. As he caught it, a wide grin stretched across his face.
"This should even things out." He laughed blocking several gunshots from his foe. "Get out of my way!!" he shouted charging back at him.
"Playing a game of chicken, huh?" Trigger mentioned as their weapons clashed and lightning struck down. It started to pour rain hard. A rumble of thunder clapped in the air as the rain drenched Hero and trigger as well as Kei.
"You're no lackey at all to last this long against me." Hero huffed.
"The data that we've collected about you and your strength keeps surprising us," Trigger puffed back.
"Kei, I could use another one of your spells for aid here." He yelled back to her.
"I'm on it! . . . Soukburu, she replied as a double of Hero approached them. "Now you're out numbered Trigger." He chuckled.
"I highly doubt it." He said as he focused, pulling out more arms and firearms then Hero could count. The rain was pounding now; Hero noticed something different about it though. It was becoming more acidic as drops ate at his clothing. He jumped back as Trigger announced his attack.
"Thousand arm barricade!" He shouted, but was interrupted by a female voice.
"Heavy acid storm," she shouted. As the rain cleared up, every single gun Trigger held was corroded beyond repair. Hero turned behind him to see Acqua all in blue dressed like a goddess.
    "Acqua, you?" said Hero confused.
"Not enough time to explain now, let's rescue Yume." She reminded him.
"Right, let's move on out Kei," He said running past the corroded and rusted Trigger Lock.
