    I stared outside the window.I watched as the tiny raindrops fell on our lawn.Pitter patter pitter patter.The rain poured and it gave me comfort to watch the sky cry.I finally went outside,looked up and enjoyed the refreshing drops of rain pour into my face.

    “Alice!”

    I turned around and I saw Shun.I felt my knees weaken.Why did I feel so nervous when I'm around him?When did I even start feeling nervous around him?I think it was that day just after we saved Vestroia from Naga.

    <Flashback>

    We were celebrating Vestroia's restoration by camping out in the woods and having a forest party.Shun and I were picking some twigs for the camp fire.I saw a beautiful white butterfly.I felt hypnotized by it's radiating glow.I followed it without realizing that I've gone a long way.

    “Alice!”a voice shouted..

    I looked back.It was too late.My foot slipped and I fell off the cliff.I closed my eyes.I was going to die.I was going to die.Fear crept all over my body.I didn't want to die at least not yet.Suddenly,I felt a hand gripping mine.

    “Hold on tight!”

    “Shun...”

    Shun caught me.Our lives relied on a single branch that grew on the cliff.And fate,cruel as it is,caused the branch to snap and break at our weight.really,was I that heavy?Why am I even thinking of that?Shun and I were gonna die and it was all my fault.Stupid butterfly,why did I have to follow you?

    My eyes were shut again and I felt a scream escape my mouth.Two warm arms wrapped around my waist.It was Shun.

    “Don't worry I've got you”

    We fell on several trees.Branches were broken,breaking our fall.Fate,I guess wasn't so cruel.however,we were still covered in scratches and bruises.Good thing I had my bag withme.It had a first aid kit.You know me,always prepared.

    “Shun.are you okay?”

    “Yeah” shun whispered hiding his pain”argh”

    “Don't lie,You have so many scratches and bruises.”
    “I'm fine,Really!”

    “Don't be stubborn.Here I'll fix up your wounds”

    I started patching up his wounds.I dabbed some betadine on his wounds,covered it with plastic strips,others with gauzes and I finally finished.I looked up at his face.He was just sitting there staring at me.A blush crept on my face.Those deep brown eyes were so overwhelming and our faces were only inches apart.

    “There,All Done!”I blurted out,trying to end the deafening silence.

    “Thanks,How 'bout you?Are you okay?”

    “Yeah,I'm fine.I already patched up my wounds”

    Since the rain poured hard,we slept under the comfort of a nice and warm oak tree.Shun fell asleep,his head resting on my shoulder.I didn't think he realized that until the next day.i just stared at him that night.His long silky hair,deep brown eyes and slightly tanned skin made me feel so.....I can't describe the feeling.I felt entoxicated,i think....I think.......I think I love him.He did just save my life.He was quite the heartthrob and I know that he has a good,caring personality beneath he's seemingly cold figure.I'm in love with Shun.

    <End of Flashback>

    That was the day that I fell for him.I've fallen for Shun.But,I knew he loved someone else.He was in love with Runo.I would always notice him staring at her.He would get lost in space whenever he was with her.The guy I love was in love with the girl I thought of as a siter.My heart ached at the fact

    “Alice,you'll get sick if you stay out here!”

    “It's okay,I'll be fine,”I smiled at him.Even though looking at him and knowing that he loved someone else pained me so much.

    “You should get in,there's going to be a thunderstorm.I was heading home to safety and you should go back in too.”

    “Okay,already”

    The sound of thunder roared and covered the whole area.Lightning struck and the rain started to pour harder and harder.

    “Alice get inside!”

    He started walking away but I stopped him.

    “Why don't you stay here for now?Your house is still faraway and --”

    Another lightning struck and the thunder was really strong.

    “That's not such a bad idea.”

    We both went inside.My heart was raising.He looked so hot with his hair dripping wet.He looked at me like I was doing something I don't do normally.I noticed that I was just staring at him and not doing anything.

    “What?”he asked

    “It's just that you're dripping wet,”I said And you're so hot.

    “It's not my fault my Umbrella was blown away and struck by lightning.”

    I giggled”You should change.I think there's some clothes here that fit you....FOUND IT!”

    “Here” I said giving him the clothes.

    He went into a room and started changing.I also went to my room and started changing.I was finally done.When I went out I saw him sitting on the couch-My Couch.I walked towards him and sat beside him.

    “Hey...”

    “What?”he asked.

    “I know you like....her”

    “Like who?”

    “You like Runo”

    “.....”

    “You should tell her how you feel.I always catch you staring at her.You're always daydreamiong about her.I've seen you blush whenever you're with her.You even bought her that beautiful silver necklace,even though you haven't given it yet.And I even found this letter that you wrote”

    I'd just like to say that I've fallen fall for you.I don't know why but whenever I'm with you I feel nervous.I always catch myself staring at you.I dream about you day and night.I just can't get you out of my mind.I even bought this necklace for you.

    “I.... know....”my words became muffled as the tears started pouring down.I couldn't hold it back any longer.Maybe I shouldn't have started the conversation.

    “I'm not in love with Runo....”

    “Don't Lie!I--”

    My words were cut off.I felt soft warm lips connected to mine.He kissed me.Right then and there,I melted.I gave into the kiss and kissed him back..He pulled away.

    “I'm not in love with Runo,I'm in love with you.I wasn't staring at her,I was staring at you.You were always with her.I don't feel nervous around her,I feel nervous around you..,You were always there.I daydream about you not her.You're always in my mind.And that necklace,it's for you.I love you....Alice.”

    I gasped.I wasn't expecting him to say that.He held my chin up.I felt his hand resting on mine.He started moving closer.I closed my eyes.He moved closer and closer until our lips finally met.His lips were so warm,so soft,irresistable,so kissable .We finally broke away after what seemed like forever.

    Thunder was heard and lightning struck.

    I shrieked and found myself resting on Shun's chest.

    “It's okay,I'm here...I love you...and I will always protect you....”

    “I love you too, Shun”I said resting my head on his chest.
