Chapter 16 - Slither raid Part 1

At the docking center where the Guardian HQ and Kay's ship were docked at a hidden sky base, every megaman boarded the Pillar of Autumn and prepaired to leave and head to the rondeveau point, where they would split up in a 2 person group. As soon as they reached there point, the rules and missions were set. Biometals were sorted and primed. Everyone but John were here and Kay gave out her final instructions.

Kay (radio)= Ok everyone listen up. It's time to split up into 2 person groups. Vent and Aile will take it to the prison facility to face off with Hurricane since you now have proper experiance to deal with her. Brock and Maggie will take the Serpent research facility to face off with Protectos. Brock, this is Maggie's first time fighting so help her out ok?

Brock= Will do!

Maggie= I will try my best.

Kay (radio)= Kaolla will be acompanied by Kos-Mos and head to the underwater area located in the woods in Area A. You will have to deal with Leganchor and take the other Model L from him.

Kaolla= Roger'roo that Kay kay!

Kos-Mos= Affermitive miss Kay

Kay (radio)= Phil, you are the strongest of the group and I regret you going allone but there's nobody else. I have repaired Model N and John has given me full permision for you to use it. You go to the town and head for the Slither dig site and find Flammole and put an end to there and get the other Model F from him.

Phill= Kay, you worry too much. Im good allone, besides I have Model N now. And I also set the Pillar of Autumn on auto-pilot so it will fly back to us when were done.

Kay (radio)= I see. But another thing I regret... I put John in great jepardy tracking down the other space pirate facility, not to menson both Dr. Wily, Dalton, Serpant, and Omega Zero are competing against each other to get there hands on him.

Phill= Kay.... it's...

Kay (radio)= John has all the copy biometals and Model S and M and the biometal he got from the place. We hope he can pull it off. He and Kaolla are our only magic users and John seems to know some pretty powerful stuff.

Vent= It's ok Kay. We can try to finish our missions in time.

Aile= Yeah. We will make this quick so we can join John in battle.

Kay (radio)= Ok, it's all settled. Now go! Your all wasting precous time. Good luck to you all. Godspeed!

*broadcast ends*

Phill= Alright everyone, you heard Kay, everyone fall out! Let's show Slither inc. we mean buisiness!

*The groups split up and each take a different route.*

*Vent and Aile reach the prison facility where people were being held prisoner and being turned into cyber elves. The rain was comming down quite hard. But the kids were prepaired for anything.*

Vent= This has to be it.

Aile= It is.

*incomming transmission*

Prairie (radio)= Vent, Aile, can you hear me? It's me, Prairie. You 2 alright?

Vent= Yes Prairie.

Aile= Sure thing.

Prairie (radio)= You already heard from Kay what Slither is doing to these people? Please save them ok?

Aile= It's a promice.

Vent= Leave it to us!

*transmission ends*

*Vent and Aile head towards the prision facility cutting anything in there path. Now there were more mechanloids with propellers and bug shapes and they were getting in there way but Vent and Aile cut them down. As if nothing can stop them. Vent and Aile went forward to the facility and got through the security safely. There was a building that lead inside the complex where they needed to find those prisoners before the worst could happen to them.*

Vent= There's a split area here.

Aile= Let's split up. Vent, you take Model H and head upward. I'll take Model Ph and go on the bottom level.

Vent= Sounds good. I can't imagine how John is going through with that other mission.

Aile= That's because John has powers and abilities we don't have.

Vent= Well, ok. You be careful down there.

*Vent and Aile split up and Vent traveled the high area of the complex while Aile took it to the dark bottom. Both zones were heavaly guarded, full of obstacles, and were very dangerous.*



*Vent had to deal with a bunch of rotating turrets and further ahead, he spotted a bunch of downward pasageways with spiked surfaces and one hit from them, and it would be good bye Vent. He had Model H and hovered his way down sucsessfully. Aile faced a treacherous dark zone filled with holes, drops, and hiding enemies waiting to ambush. Luckly Model Ph had the radar feature and she was able to ambush the hidden foes first. Later, both met back up together and were almost to the station where the people were being held. When they entered a zone leading back outside, they saw another building. As soon as they aproached the door, a flash of hard lightnig struck and a psedoroid appeared that looked like a weasel.*
(music stops)



Hurricane= Well well well, isn't it the 2 children wanting to save those people from behind that door?

Vent= Huh?

Aile= Are you the one behind this?

Hurricane= Yes I am. I am Hurricane, and I am proud to serve Lord Serpant and want to turn these captured residence into cyber elves. When im done with you, we will catch your fellow guardians, and those other resistance people and that Megaman Plum and make them pay for what they done!

Vent= Sorry. Not gonna happen.

Aile= We will be taking those people back now!

Hurricane= Oh brave aren't we? You can have them... if you can beat me. But I highly doubt you can. I will enjoy listening to the both of you scream in terror!

*Hurricane fires a throwing blade attack which Vent and Aile strife out of the way, Hurricane jumps and begins to summon bolts of electric energy and throws them at the kids. Huricane does a high jump and then slowly lowers down thus she is spinning like a top. Then she tried to drop on them but Vent and Aile strife again. Aile throws kunai knives at her. Vent switches biometals to Model L and fires an ice shot which Huricane is weak against. Hurricane flinches in the cold*

Hurricane= Oh you brats!! I will make you pay for that!

Aile= Let's see you try it!

*Aile charged up for a throwing star attack and hit Hurricane. Vent made sure he was safe to attack again when Hurricane tried to attack with her projectiles and Aile was clear from being hit by friendly fire. Vent landed his attack and struck her in the weak area damaging her criticaly. Hurricane went down in defeat.*

(Music stops)

Hurricane= Uhhhhh... how can I... be beaten by a couple of mear children...

Vent= Were gonna make sure Slither dosent hurt anymore people!

Aile= We will make sure we don't have anymore victims like our mother!

*Hurricane explodes and from her derbis lies more of Model H*

Vent= We got it.

Aile= Now let's get the people.

(Music goes back to- Misty Rain / Megaman Z X )

*Vent and Aile went through the door of the other building and found the people behind the forcefield. Vent and Aile deactivated the shield*

Man= Who are you.... you saved us?

Woman= Thank the both of you two.

cildren= Cool!

Boy= We were gonna be turned into cyber elves.

Vent= Not anymore.

Aile= Let's contact Prairie and let her know we got the people.

(Music fades)

*Phil just was in the city and after walking through the door that lead to the dig site where Slither inc. were creating rucus, and all the tourism attraction sighns were torn down and it looked like a war zone was here too. Phil recieved a hailing frequency from his com-link.*

Prairie= Phil. This is Prairie. This was supposed to be a vacation resort near the volcano for tourists. It appeared that the citizens were driven off.

Phil= I see. That's why im not gonna stop till all these mavericks and Slither are put out of commision.

Prairie= I see. Well, good luck.

*Phil makes his way through the path avoiding the guyser jets and flying maverick bots as they attacked him from above, but Phil had Model N and megamerged with it and used the laser blades to cut them up like butter to a hot knife.*

Phil= Im so glad Kay's group were kind enough to fix this biometal. It served John well, let's hope it does me good too.

*As Phil crossed the volcanic heated water, he treaded through it, but Model N's armor was so strong, he was uneffected by the hazardus heat. Phil easaly crossed the path and then to a cave and he traveled through there downing any maverick in his path. Later he arrived at a transport cart with the cables. The car was missing so he took a faitfull jump and a big drop into the deep hole. Later he dropped to the bottom where he had to face off with the lava demon.*

(Music fades)

Phil= I see. I gotta take this guy out, this won't take too long.

*Phil watched the lava demon as it formed and tried to run him over. Phil then took an electric based weapon and continued to shoot the creature, but it had no effect. But as it shot up in the air, the head core was exposed. Phil shot at it immediately and did some pretty high damage to it. Then more lava balls shot out and rained on the platform where he was standing on. Phil dashed sideways and diaganaly to avoid getting hit by lava. The lava demon took form again and tried the same attack pattern. When the core was exposed, Phil took another shot at it and then it was done for.*

(Music fades)

*The core exploded and there was not very much after that. Then he saw a Guardian grunt ahead.*

Guardian grunt= Woah! I really thank you for what you did for us. Helping us get rid of that lava maverick.

Phil= It was nothin' mate. Things like that are nothing compaired to what I delt with in the past.

Guardian grunt= Well, anyway, there's a mole lookin maverick at the far end. Your gonna have to cross the lava rivers quick cause there's lava flow jetting from behind as soon as you step foot in that chamber.

Phil= I'll get to the bottom of this, don't you worry. And get back to base. I got this place covered.

Guardian grunt= Gotcha. Thanks!

*The guardian grunt teleports*

(Music goes back to- High press energy/ Megaman Z X tunes)

*Phil moved to the area where the Guardian grunt told him about and as soon as he entered that door, there was a jet stream of hot boiling lava gas shooting from behind him. Phil haulled a** and dash jumped across obstacles, lava pits and chopped down any mechanloid that stood in his path. Then when he got to the end, there was another door. He went inside and there was yet another hot tunnel that blew gas and lava from behind him and he repeated the same as if he was in the first. Then there was a big door and he went through it. Then there was this small room with dirt floor surface and celing. Looked like something was tunneling through the soil. Then he looked straight ahead and saw a pseudoroid emerge from the ground.*



Flamole= So you are the one who's been helping those wretched guardians and gave Prometheus a bit of trouble.

Phil= Yes, that's me! And if you wanna live, you give up that biometal of yours to me!

Flamole= HA! I don't think so. Im gonna grind you up guy.

Phil= Obviously you have no idea who your dealing with. I took out Fistleo and now it's your turn!

Flamole= I guess im gonna have to avenge him then. Prepare yourself to be barbequed!

(Music playing- Boss /Plok)

*Flamole jumped and drilled down the ground and began to tunnel and Phil was trying to detect his underground movements. As he emerged, Flamole fired a few barages of fireballs and Phil shot his Spark Mandrel's bolt weapon and hit him good. Flamole then dove back in the ground and tunneled again. This time when he merged, he was on the celling and tried to rain fire at him, then Phil took Volt Catfish's shock barrier and gave him a good jolt. Then Flamole dropped to the ground and charged up a new fire attack. This time he set the whole floor on fire, but Phil already jumped and wall kicked on the walls and fired more electric shots and Flamole was struck with a powerful attack that he hit meltdown and he was finished.*

(Music stops)

Flamole= WHAT!? Fistleo lost to you!? No wonder your so strong. Forgive me lord Serpent! Guahhhhhhhhhhh!!!

*Flamole exploded and another Model F appeared and Phil collected it.*

Phil= Prairie, come in!

Prairie= Prairie here. Are you ok Phil?

Phil= Mission accomplished. Im gonna check up on the others. I'll regroup the other teams and prepare to depart for the space pirate base to acompany John.

*So Phil and Vent and Aile's trials were done, but what about Kos-Mos, Maggie, Kaolla and Brock? Let's find out next time......*
