• I sighed. Another weird dream was plaguing my night's rest. This time, I was dreaming of being at McDonald's when I bumped into a employee who was mopping the floor. Right next to me. He just stared at me, looked through me as if I was only air. I thought the face was so familiar, yet so...so...I just couldn't put my tongue on it.

"Akemi! Eat some breakfast now! You'll be late to school soon."
"I'll come as soon as I finish combing my hair!"
" Then, hurry up! You know that you have a bus to catch!"
I went into the bathroom to comb my hair. It was long and black and thick. Oh, boy,I thought. You'd think I'd take HOURS just to comb this black mess!

I rushed downstairs, gulped down breakfast and practically flew to the bus stop.
Just outside of my classroom, I met up with my friend, Sukki.
" Sukki, you know about those weird dreams I've been having lately, right? Well, I just had one."
"Can we talk about this later, Akemi? I'm going to be late. The English teacher told me to come early to class for something. You'd better get going too. We'll talk during lunch." She rushed down the hall.

Lunchtime. I met up with Sukki again and lined up in the lunch line with her.

After we got our lunches and sat down, Sukki opened conversation.
"So, tell me about that dream again, Akemi."
I explained everything to her and once I finished, she started nodding.
"Maybe, its just someone you don't know..."
She gave me a mischievous glint from her eye.
"...or it might be some guy who's gonna be your crush soon! "
"Sukki, don't be so silly. You know that I don't crush on people so easily!"
Sukki shrugged. Over her shoulder, I saw the guy. My eyes just popped. Sukki looked sideways at me.
    "What's wrong now?"
"Sukki, it's that guy from my dream! He's just behind you!"
She turned around and said, " Akemi, this is not funny. No one's there. You're just tired and seeing things."
    "Yeah, guess you're right."
