• Luminita allowed her eyes to follow Tavian's figure as he walked out of the room with Marty. She looked down to her hands that were laced together on her lap. Her gaze stayed locked to her fingers as she stared at the white paper band that was wrapped around her wrist. A small tear fell from her eyes and landed on her fingers. She ignored the wet drop as she continued to replay the scene in her mind. There was no doubt that she was feeling pain from that small moment.

Though she did feel weird telling herself that she did love him. She didn't doubt it, the feeling after only a day or so though was what got to her. The girl buried down under her sheets as she allowed her head a chance to lay against her soft pillow. After the day she had, there was no doubt in her mind that she needed sleep. Her eyes closed after a few moments and she finally drifted into her abyss that most referred to as sleep.

During the middle of the night, Luminita woke up with a start. Cold sweat lightly coated her forehead as she heaved a few breaths. She looked around the dark room as she felt the sadness quickly overwhelm her once again. Without so much as a second thought, she stripped herself of the sheets on her bed and stood up in the white gown that had been given to her. She ripped off the IV that was dug into her skin, flinching a bit at the feeling. Afterward she turned the machines off so that they wouldn't beep because she wasn't there.

Luminita walked out of her room, the tile against her bare feet felt cool and comforting but it wasn't enought to calm her down. She hurried out of the hospital and walked outside, collapsing to her feet on the black pavement. Tears streamed down her face as she remained silently crying to herself. A small amount of blood trickled down her forearm as she curled into a ball on the wet pavement. It didn't take long, but she finally fell asleep with the cold rain to comfort her in the process.

In the morning, she awoke to a familiar white light. She blinked a few times to uncloud her vision as she looked down and noticed that she was back in the white bed. Her brow furrowed angrily at the sight and then her face relaxed. She eventually looked up and saw two people in the door way. They were talking quietly amongst themselves. Miss Hartman spoke quietly to the other, not noticing that Luminita was awake. Tavian nodded once and said a few words. She didn't quite catch the words, but attempted to anyway. Once he spoke, he looked over to Luminita's bed. She figured that he could easily tell when she was awake and just went with it.

His expression was completely blank, showing no emotion. The indigo eyes stared at her for a few short seconds before turning and leaving the room. He went down the hallway and out of sight. Miss Hartman gave Luminita a small smile,"Good morning, dear." Her voice sounded sympathetic, like she was attempting to talk to a psychopath. Luminita nodded,"'Morning." She replied quietly. The teacher walked to the right of the girl's bed. Luminita followed her with her pale eyes, for once noticing that she was still a bit wet and that he clothing was holding some water. They must've changed her clothing before putting her back to bed.

The teacher paused for a moment before speaking,"Tavian found you on the pavement-" The girl only caught part of the words. She angrily sighed mentally. Of course he found her, not someone else. Anymore it seemed like he was the only one that actually helped her. After thinking that over, she paid attention once again as the teacher continued,"No one knew about it at all, actually. The only way they knew was with the security cameras. The doctors came to your room in the morning and you already had dry clothing on." The girl was still partially dazed from the fact that she was back in the hospital that she didn't even comprehend most of what the teacher said. So, she simply nodded and looked to the wall of her hospital room. Miss Hartman still had plenty to tell her, but she figured that she could wait until Luminita was feeling better.

The teacher slipped silently out of the room while Luminita sat in her bed. Her eyes eventually found their way to look at the door. A silhouette was standing in the doorway but vanished out of nowhere. She jumped a bit as she looked to her left and noticed the familiar form standing to her left. For once, he actually wasn't wearing a sweatshirt. Instead, he had on a black tee shirt that highly complimented his pale skin along with deep blue jeans. She really couldn't tell what type of shoes he was wearing, but that was the least of her worries as she noted the eyes once again piercing to her soul.

"How many times are you going to have me save you?" He asked with a slightly amused voice, his eyes keeping contact with her even though his black hair fell over his eyes. Luminita narrowed her eyes at him,"You didn't have to save me. You could've let me out there in the rain." She looked away from him and over to the wall to her right. His hands moved to set on the railing of her bed, looking to her as she gave him the answer."What if you would've gotten pneumonia?""I'm sure I would've lived." She snapped as she continued to stare at the wall. Despite his calm voice, she couldn't help but get annoyed with him.

Tavian let out a small breath and then nodded at her,"Alright." With the small word, his accent was clearly defined,"Next time, I'll let you die." Luminita let out a small huff,"Fine by me. Go return to your zombie of a girlfriend. I'm sure she's missing you right now." Tavian closed his eyes at the comment and then nodded as he pulled away from the railing of her bed and headed out of the room. He didn't bother to say a word to her as he walked away. Luminita sat in her bed as she felt a few more tears produce in her eyes. This time, however, she brushed them away furiously and continued to stare at the wall.
