• Foom!Tori ran as fast as she could for the door. She had a thing about getting the door open as fast as possible. Her momentum almost sent her face first into the door, but she saved herself by puling it open. She started to fall forward, but someone caught her. She looked up to see who it was and, to her suprise, found herself looking at a younger version of her cousin, Hiekeama. "Oh,my gosh! What the hell are you doing here, Daisu?!?!"
"Hello to you to Tori," he replied, slightly amused.
The last time Tori had seen her 15-year old cousin Daisu had been 5 years ago, yet she still reconized him in seconds. He looked almost exactly like his brother, yet she could always distinguish him from Hiekeama. He was shorter, for one, and had less frown lines. His hair had always been messier than Hiekeama's as well. "I'm sorry but seriously. I haven't seen you for five years, and then you pop up unanouced. I was just a little suprised."
    "Should I have not come?"
"No, no, you're always welcome, just give me a little warning next time"
    "Sorry, but I had... reasons."
She took in his slightly worried expression."Here, sit. Is something going on that I need to know about?"
He sat down in he chair. "Well.....yeah."
    " What? Tell me!"
    " It's Hiekaema."
Tori froze."That b*****d!"she swore,"What did he do this time?"
"He's looking for you. He wants you dead. Moreso, he wants your ring."
"Tell me something I don't already know."
    "He's close. He'll get here in.... I dunno, 5, mabey 6 days."
"So,lemme guess, you're here to tell me to get the hell out of here."
    " Yeah, pretty much."
"Well, I'm gonna need an excuse."
    "For what?"
    "For my sudden absence."
    "Oh."
"I take it you want me to follow you back to your house or whatever."
    "Yeah, how did you know?"
"Lucky guess."She stood up. "You're gonna have to get stuff for the trip. How far away is this place?"
    "Five days away. At least."
"Hm. This is gonna be interesting."
That night Daisu slept on Tori's couch. Soon, they would be out of here, on the road, on the run.
