• Chapter 4: Life and Death
“Don’t do this to me!” Triv yelled into the com panel. “It’s the only way!” Deacon persisted, “If I do this then only I will get erased!” “But you will still get erased! That’s my problem!” Triv continued, “Don’t do this! That’s an order!” “If I am about to die, orders are the least of my worries, at least this way I can save you.” Deacon answered as he began realigning the temporal coils. “NO! Get out of there! You can’t do this!” Triv started again, “How will I live with myself knowing I let you die?” “You can live happily, and forget about me, if you keep remembering the sadness of losing me, you won’t succeed.” Deacon finished correcting the coils, and waited for the inevitable erasing. “Goodbye, Deacon.” Triv managed to choke out. “Goodbye, Captain.” Deacon sighed. ‘Goodbye, old friend’ they both thought.
    A blinding light flashed.
“Deacon! No! NO! NOOO!!!” Triv sobbed as he fell unconscious to the floor of the bridge.

Chapter 5: Time does not move for one man
I know these chapters are very short, but let’s get on with the story shall we?
‘Where am I?’ Triv thought with barely any consciousness. There were counters and sinks, everything was white, people walking by in white uniforms, Triv was on a medical halo, a type of bed that uses air currents to keep you aloft, but they are soft air currents, you couldn’t feel a thing, as if you were floating through space. ‘Im in a hospital’ Triv realized, ‘But why?’ Suddenly it all came back to him: Taking off from the station, preparing a time jump, getting hit by the meteor, Deacon saving him- ‘Deacon, he’s gone? No, that’s not possible, he can’t be dead’ and Triv kept telling himself that while he was realizing the cold, awful truth, ‘Deacon, you’re not gone! NO! NO! NO!’ “NOOOOO!” Triv bolted upright, ignoring the stabbing pain in the back of his head and chest, “He’s not gone!” Triv continued sobbing until a nurse saw he was awake and alerted his family. “Triv! You’re awake!” his (adopted) mother said when they entered the white room. “Yeah, I’m awake,” Triv managed to say, “But Deacon…” “We know” his (adopted) father told him, “It’s challenging knowing that out of a one in a trillion chance of this happening, our son was the one…” As he continued to reminisce about the good times with Deacon, Triv only thought one thing: ‘I have to get Deacon back, no matter what. Im going to have to break the Universal Planetary Orders biggest law’
