• markus was walking home, listening to the violent chrashes of thunder off in the distance. where he was it was dark and cloudy, but the storm was still miles away. he let his mind wander away, hands in his deep pockets, his head tilted. he always tilted his head when he was deep in thought. as he walked through the park, he noticed the birds whern't singing and the annoying buzzing insects whern't out...
strange he thought, slowing down a bit. he ducked into a phone booth where he remembered he had forgotten his jacket the other day. to his dissapointment, his favorite jacket was no longer there. but there was something else in there that suprized him...
"uh, miss? you ok?" he asked the young woman lying down in the phone booth. the girl had rreddish-brown hair, in two little piggytails. she had pale skin and what looked like a school uniform. she let out a small snore. what the heck! he thought, frowning why is she SLEEPING in a phone booth?
"no...no..." she mummbled in her sleep. "no more ice cream, mr. goat..." she rolled over so she was laying on markus' feet.
he couldn't help but burst out laughing. "gt offa me, lady!" he choked out, barely able to breathe.
"uhhhhrm!" she murmered, sounding angry. she grabbed markus' leg, causing him to fall.
"ooof!" he grunted, as he hit the hard pavement.
"gimme the... the cookie... i wannit!" she almost screamed, still asleep.
"get off!" markus yelled, struggling. this girl had a death grip! "help!" he hollered, but there was no one there to hear his call. the girl rolled over again so she was right next to him.
suddenly, the girl shot upright. "what? where?" she screamed, looking wildly around, her gaze finally landing on poor markus. her shocked eyes turned to anger.
"you... who are you!?" she said, pulling him up by his coller
"me? im just the poor lil boy you just attacked in your sleep! who the h*ll are you?" he screamed back
"what are you talking about!?" she hollered back "and why are we in a phone boo-" she paused and her eyes narrowed
markus' anger diminished, and his cheeks turned red. "no! nononononononono! i was not-"
"you were." she said in a unbelievibly angery voice.
"no! i left my jacket in here and you where sleeping in-"
"you..." she dropped markus, but she still had him pinned down with her knee in his stomach. she whipped out her cell phone.
"that... sorta hurts..." he said, gasping.
"good" she snapped back. "hello 911? i-"
"no! not 911! its all a mistake! dont listen to her!" he screamed, grabbing the phone.
uh... ma'am? whats going on?" asked a confused lady on the other end.
"no! it was all a big mistake! nothing happened!" he shut the phone, just as the girl lunged at his hand. she fell right onn top of him, there noses almost touching.
"oh my GAWD!" said a new voice. the two kids looked up, to see a portly old woman waching them, horror and disgust written on her face.
"no! its not what it looks like!" they said in unisin.
"ugh! how repulsing!" she waddled away as fast as her fat legs could take her.
"i'm outta here!" yelled markus, shoving the girl off of him and standing up.
"this never happened!" the girl yelled, jumping up too.
"agreed" they said in unisin, running in opposite directions, heading home.
