• I was getting impatient, just watching LouLou file her nails. What was I waiting for? I didn't even remember what I was doing here. Where was I, again? I-
'I'm sorry, babe, but I HAVE to interrupt. If you're getting annoyed by how WELL I file my nails, then I suggest you keep it to yourself instead of telling me
your failure of an opinion. And you're waiting for Jay to get you your food, remember? You must have bad memory. Have you ever played a memory game? Sheesh.'
I shot her a dirty look. 'Do you mind? I thought I asked you keep out of my thoughts earlier.'
LouLou shot one back. 'You said it out loud, missy, so don't be blaming me.'
I was about to burn her to a come back, but I kept my mouth shut. I was definitley losing it. I'd had no food for days and I desperatley needed a bath. I just wanted to go home. I closed my eyes and leaned my head on the back of the sofa. I relaxed and thought about home, the gardens, my friends, and the bright blue skies that were full of wonder and happiness. I must've slept for about an hour at the most, just by noticing the feel of the weather.

    Then I opened my eyes.

The first thing I saw was his eyes.
I hadn't even heard him come, but there he was, two inches from my face. I couldn't scream, let alone speak.
Up close, his eyes were so perfect and shiny, glossy and full of life, ecstatic and vibrant...and I just watched them as they trembled slightly...
Then I realized that I was getting lost into an unpleasant feeling of forced sleep, and my eyes began to close, little by little.
The last thing I heard was LouLou's laugh.
The last thing I saw was The Shadow falling to his knees.
