• She just skipped. Skipped everywhere she went. She seemed like an it. And the it seemed like a toy. The toy that everyone played with. She was very desprate for a friend. But wherever she went she never found a true friend. One day, she came up to me and said, "Ma'm you have been watching be for 6 days straight. You've never talked to me or have even nodded. Would you like to be my friend." I look at her and smile. "Little girl," I bended down. "What you need is a family before you have a friend. I will be your family first." The little girl looked at me and desprately said thank-you. I told her to skip along to the playground and gave her my address. I waited 2 days. She never came. I walked everywhere but never found her. I went to the place where I saw her last and talked to the clerk. "Excuse me sir. Did you see me talk to a young girl 2 days ago?"
The man looked at me and said. "No, I saw you talking to yourself."
The moment of truth hit me. There was no girl.
