• “Hey! You can’t leave without me!” He said smiling.
“And why, my dear Brother is that?” I asked mischievously.
“I well… um I left my keys at home.” He muttered.
“So since I have to work after I eat dinner, you would be locked out.” I smirked
“Y-yeah. I guess so.” He laughed, “Hey why don’t you skip the work. I’ll make Rangiku do it.” Toshirou said.
“You and I both know she wouldn’t do it. But I can work on it tomorrow, I’ll make dinner.” I said and saw his eyes light up. Toshirou loved my cooking, and since one of us was usually working I didn’t cook very often.
“Can we have sweet nattō? Oh and watermelon?” Toshirou asked sounding like a small child.
“Of course we can, but we need normal food to. Not just sweets.” I laughed; some times it was hard to tell we were the same age. I mean other than the fact that I’m taller that him, sometimes it seemed as if I was so much older than him. I usually took on a more mature image. Some people thought I was emotionless, but in reality I’m just distant, ready to protect my twin in an instant. You could say I was somewhat of a ‘mamma bear’.
“But fruit IS healthy!” He whined in a Toshirou way.
“Yes, and I know you devour watermelon like it’s the last thing you’re going to eat! But sweet nattō is, as the name suggests, sweet. So lets pick another food that you would like as well.” I reasoned.
“Oh fine, then how about… ramen?” He asked.
“Ramen, sweet nattō, and watermelon it is!” I announced.
“YAY!” Toshirou yelled jumping up and down.
“You’re not acting like you usually do, I hope no one from our squad sees you like this!” I told him laughing.
“Oh, um, yeah… lets get home.” He replied awkwardly.
