• Theres just something about summer that keeps us sane. Theres just something about the smell of honeysuckle, fresh-cut grass, and chlorine. There's the lovely sound of sizzling pavement after a late-day thunderstorms, the kind that you just want to go out and run through it, without a care in the world. Wether it's the Old Navy flip-flops thwaking against the baking asphalt, or the crashing, cooling waves at the beach, I may never know. But I DO know that summer is when things happen, when true magic comes to being. One summer can change the way you live the rest of your life, it can change you, forever. Later in life, I'll reach back to one summer and put a finger to it, to the exact point when it all changed. That summer was mine.
