• BONG . . . . BONG . . . . BONG

The final three chimes of midnight echoed through the city. Two figures on top of the Hentor Asylum building stared down in disgust. One figure stood up, straight, long, ebony hair being whipped around by the wind. Black eyes glowering at the white city, it's streets, sidewalks, people. The figure spit at the sidewalk below, grunting in meer disgust.
The crouched figure beside her glanced at her with golden eyes. Choppy black hair with a streak of blood red hung in his face. He took a deep breath and looked back down at the city. He despised it as much as his companion did. "K, when are we going to-"
"Patience boy. We must wait." Her voice was sharp and low while his was deep and menacing. Z sighed once again and turned back to the city. A few minutes went by before Z couldn't take it anymore. He couldn't stand looking at the bland city any longer. It was too . . . he couldn't describe it. All colorful words had been erased from history.
"Now?" His voice was strained, as if he were in pain. The small woman stared at him a moment, then nodded. A grin came to his face. "Finally." He dove off the roof, wind whipping past his face, ground coming closer and closer. "Let's start this party, shall we?"
A large explosion came out at him as pieces and chunks of wall barely struck him in the face. Using one of the larger pieces of plaster and concrete, he launched himself into the building and rushed down the halls sprinting past shocked looking androids.
Following right behind him was K, her speed unimaginable as she darted right past him and around the corner, taking out an andriod with an invisible strike. Z followed, to the best of his abilities, right behind her, unseathing his silver blades. He sliced clean through another andriod, scraps of metal flying and it's metallic body lying in half.
K took a glance at her hand. "Room 013. Damnit! Wrong floor," she hissed as she came to an imediate stop. Z nearly knocked into her if she weren't so fast. He skidded to a stop, taking out one of the panicing androids with him. K glanced down at him and shook her head. "For one of the most dangerous criminals of the world, your very clutzy," she commented.
Z shrugged and grinned, standing up again and brushing himself off. "Oh well. Why'd ya stop?" K showed the taller man the room number. He groaned, rubbing the bridge of his nose with his forefinger and thumb. "Damn, we messed up."
K gave her companion a glare before kneeling down and withdarwing a piece of red chalk from her pocket. She drew hell's mark on the floor then made Z and her both stand within it. The symbol beneath their feet glowed brilliantly and they faded through the dozens of floors until they had reached the first level. Conveniantly they had landed right in front of room 013.
K pointed and Z sighed. He rapped loudly on the door, until a mutter of "Who is it," came to his ears.
"Stand back," he called loudly through the thick door and pulled the grenade from his pocket. He pulled the small metal ring from it's place in the explosive and threw it towards the door just as it blew the door off it's hinges. As the smoke cleared, the two criminals could see the damsel quite well.
She had messily cut brownish black hair with glowing emerald eyes that gazed at the window near the top of the wall. She was dressed like any other person here would dress, a white long rag hung over her smallish frame. She galnced at the two criminals and smiled. "Glad you made it in time . . . Kimi and Zeke."
