• I glared at him. " Justin, where are we?"

He just laughed. " You know, when i pictured this moment, you were begging for mercy. Not glaring at me and asking where you are. But that's okay. A pretty girl like you can do whatever the hell she wants and get away with it in this world."

" Where are we?" I asked again.

" That, my friend, is something that must be kept secret." He touched my face. " But, I can tell you where your friend is going."

I punched him. " Stay away from Hunter."

" Oh no, I can't do that." He smiled a wicked evil smile. " Prince Hunter must die for even speaking to you. Your going to be a Sorai, and you better deal with it Hails."

" Never call me that again b*****d. Only my friends can call me that." I glared at him again.

He laughed. " Rochelle is one of us now. Is she still your friend?"

I didn't even think about Rochelle since i got here. I felt guilty. Now I didn't feel guilty because she was a Sorai. " No she isn't."

I didn't see Hunter get up, but all of a sudden i was behind him. " Get out of here now Justin."

Justin laughed again. " With pleasure. You'll die at sunrise." then he left.

I was scared. truly and completely scared. Again. " God, what is it about you that makes me freak out?" I asked, crying.

Hunter hugged me. " Hailey it's gonna be okay. Don't worry. We'll get out of here."

" By sunrise? I don's think so Hunter. Your going to die and I'll have to be a Sorai. Your sentence is a lot worse than mine is." I cried.

" Remember what he said Hails? I'm a prince. I can get help. and I will. I'm not gonna let those bastards turn you into one of them. I swear to god they will die before they touch you." He said.

I'll talk to him later about the whole not-telling-me-that-he-was-royal thing later. right now i just wanted to be with him, with the little time we had left. I still didn't believe him, but I nodded anyways.

We just stood there, I didn't know how long it was. Then Hunter spoke. " Hailey?"

    " Yeah Hunter?"

He let go of me and grabbed something that was around his neck. He held it up, and I almost gasped.

" I want to give this to you." He said. It was a necklace, It looked like a silver teardrop, and in the middle was an oval sapphire.

I took it and stared at it. " It's so pretty." I whispered in wonder.

" Hailey, you have to get out of here." I looked at him.

" What? There is no way in hell that I'm leaving." I said.

" Help is coming, I'll be fine. but the Sorai will know and they'll hide you somewhere before the soldiers have time to look for you. You have to leave." He looked in my eyes. " Please Hailey. For me."

" No. Do you know how spell? N-O means NO. I am not leaving no matter what the hell you say." I said to him.

" Listen, we'll be together again. I'll find you. I can't read your mind because I'm not your mentor anymore, but I can still find you in your dreams. Please, I can't lose you. I won't." He said.

" Wait, your not my mentor anymore? What the hell? Why not?" I asked.

He shrugged. " Some ancient law, saying if the mentor and his student fall in love the mentor is no longer their mentor. Weird, but true."

    I sighed. " I don't like this. At all."

" I know, but you'll die if you don't do it." He said.

" Fine, but how the hell do i get out of here with out being seen?" I asked.

He kissed me. " Like this."

My surroundings disappeared and I was in a forest. " Hunter? Where are you?" I said out loud. All I heard was silence.

Hailey's gone. I thought. I almost cried. She's safe, she's okay, I'll find her. I looked around the prison cell, looking for a weapon of some sort. I picked up a pitchfork and laughed.

A pitch fork, in a cell. Just my luck. I heard the screams before Justin heard them himself.

" ELVES! RUN! GET READY! THEIR COMING!" I heard them scream.

I laughed again. Being a prince did have its advantages. of course, being a prince means that you have to run from the Sorai all the time.

I kicked the door open, and ran out in to the mess of Sorai running to the weapons room.

I killed one with the pitchfork and grabbed his sword. I ran to the door, and the outside of the castle was a mess. Elves fighting Sorai is never a pretty thing.

A Sorai with a scar running down his face attacked me. I blocked it and fell. THe last thing i saw was the blade coming down on my head.
