• The light shone in my eyes, nearly blinding me. I took another step forward, this time lifting my arm to snatch the orb, but wait it was fading. Everytime I blinked it seemed further away and darker, I was slipping back into consciousness.
My eyes clicked open. I lifted my head from my laptop and glanced at the alarm clock beside me. 4:00am, 5 hours before my assingment was due in.
Rubbing the painful grid marks where the keys had been, I began to type.

My black coat was hanging on the back of the kitchen chair, I grabbed it on my way out the door and threw it on myself turning the collar up as usual. While I was walking along the street I began to wonder this dream does it mean something or is it plainly...a dream - though a dream I've had it for the past month.
They were there when I stepped through the school gates, the guys on the football team, Aaron Sampsons, captain of the team, and the rest of them.
I tried to walk past them and not be bothered. Obviously they couldn't let this be.
"Oi! Michael, is your hair that dark and greasy because you don't wash it or is it because when you do wash it you use a bottle of grease as shampoo!"
They all laughed like idiots at this. To me it felt like a dagger right through as usual I tried to look like it didn't hurt me. It's the same story everytime, everyday the same story. Thats the story of my life.
