The rain was thickening as Kermâs ran through the forest of Telenur. He did not know where the kheer that as chasing him was, but he knew it was behind him somewhere. He kept running until he had no more energy left. He heard a branch break. He stopped breathing. He could hear the kheer, but he could not see it. He drew his sword, so he could be ready to stop an incoming attack if it tried to attack him. He turned around. He let out a small gasp. He turned 180 degrees, and stared righ into the black eyes of the kheer. The kheer had grey skin, spikes out of it's back and a thin body. On it's head there where almost no hair, only many small cuts.
Kermâs slashed his sword toward it, trying to cut it's arm off. But it was to fast, and stopped the attack with a quick rise of it's hand. Kermâs tried to stab the kheer in the stomach, but once again the kheer stopped the attack and disarmed Kermâs. He tried to run, but the kheer jumped on him and bit his head of. The kheer took Kermâss sword and the stone he had in his backpack.

After about a hour of walking, they could see the market. Even if it was only dawn, there was many people there. Many of them had set up small tables with their good on. They sold food, drinks, weapons, furniture, art, books, scrolls and much more than Lorem could see. Even though Eryn was a small town, there was many people there.
What drew Lorems attention the most, was a wizard standing in the middle doing magic tricks for money. Lorem kept standing, wondering if he should give the wizard his small coin. Instead, he walked up to him and asked him if he could teach him to do magic.
-No my child, I can't teach you magic, he said
-Please, you can have my coin here, Lorem answered
-Hmmm... This is a very old coin, it's one of the few coins that where made of its kind. Do you know how much this coin is worth?
    -Ehhm no, Lorem said
-Well, then I can tell you, the wizard leaned towards Lorems ear and whispered:
-It's worth over 10,000 gold coins my child. For this, you could buy studies at a better magician than me.
-Might be, but I want to learn from you! Lorem was getting exited
-Haha, your'e a little stubborn one, aren't you? The wizard laughed
-Tell me your name, and I will give you mine
-My name is Lorem, Lorem replied
-And my name is Harfäs. You can come to my house in a few days, I will teach you some simple magic.
-Really? You want to teach me magic?! Thank you so much. But, where's your house?
-My house is the tower you see over there, to the north. Go now, I will see you in a few days.

Lorem walked around in the market, and bought a bread and some water and sat down on a bench. The bread was dry, but it tasted good when he drank some water with the bread in his mouth.
